If you want SQ quality.. DLS. But for your purpose, you don't need DLS. So stick with the Sundown. -
Ohms have nothing to do with loudness.

easy /best connection
johnecon2001 replied to tosh's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Ground the rear batt to the chassis or make another run of 1/0awg to the front. You can either use a distro in the back for the power wire to the amps or make a 1-1 run from each amp to the battery. Remember to fuse each 1-1 run though. Ground your amps to the rear battery. -

HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!
johnecon2001 replied to treylittlefield's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
That should be good. Make sure to add a couple of Group 31 batteries (like the D3100) along with that alternator upgrade. -
System upgrade..
johnecon2001 replied to Juslivin's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Yes you'll need an HO alt. Two to three batteries in the Group 31 size. -
You're not trying to sell outside of our for sale forum are you??? That would be a no-no.

where exactly should i set my gain on amp
johnecon2001 replied to ADK's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Bass boost only boosts one primary frequency. Which in turn causes clipping. Knowledgeable users can get away with using a touch of it by setting their gain with an oscilloscope... but just turning knobs on the amp will damage your gear. -

Only one set of preouts means you can't ever amp your front speakers with RCA's. For the price, I'd look at something else. -
If the Tinsels are in plain view (ie, not in the spiders) you can fix it yourself with out a recone.

Those that actually care about a front stage do. -
Really? It does? What happens in 6 months when it melts off body panels? There's no comparison with Damplifier Pro. eDuh doesn't make a product that has SS's vibration reducing characteristics.

I understand your confusion, but after a good experience with the W6... I'd be more inclined to go to the Q. I'm not sure how much space you have, but your amp would be glorious on one 15-18" Q in a ported or sealed box.

You could use a Y adapter if you REALLY have to have rear speakers. -
