Fuse to protect the maximum amperage of the wire... NOT the amplifier. For 4awg, fuse at 150A, for 1/0awg fuse at 300A

Don't go by what KBB tells you the trunk is unless you plan on fiberglassing an enclosure to fit every nook and cranny. You'll need to go measure and see what size of a box you can realistically fit in there.

You're thinking of Scott, but close enough. How about outlining what your brother listens too, and how much space he has available. Looks like your total budget is around $750.

I blame users that throw too much power at them (plus clipping), in a box not designed for their woofers application, on a weak electrical system.

The Q Series of subwoofers is our sound quality reference line. Featuring a hefty double stack motor structure with a heavily bumped t-yoke, the 27mm of Xmax allows for incredibly detailed, tight, and powerful bass. Dual progressive spiders keep the incredible linear excursion of this sub under control, while the extra heavy lead wire feeds the giant voice coil. Working well in both small ported and sealed enclosures, you do not have to give up your trunk to have strong bottom octave foundation for the rest of your system. The Q series is the new bottom octave benchmark. Q Series: 12

You only need one post on this forum. Perhaps the reason no one has replied is because your question is too vague. Try asking something different OR giving more information. Topic merged. -
It can.. but you'd need to passively cross the third speaker over.

Electromagnet? More details, pics?

You can't "tune" a standard sealed enclosure. You can play with the volume of the box and add poly fill to change the sound a little. But actually tuning a box belongs in the ported, bandpass, ABC, aperiodic or Passive Radiator category.

It's some kind of static energy. You're discharging it by touching the metal. Have you completed the big 3 under the hood and made sure the under hood grounds are attached to clean, bare metal? -
Time for horns up front.

Too much power for what? You haven't even chosen subwoofers yet.
