need an amp for my Icon15

If you're wanting power at two ohms, don't pay for an amp that does power at 1 ohm. Look into a Kicker product as most of their amps are stable down to 2 ohms. -
Electrical issue - wiring sub+amp

You're pretty much screwed with that combo. Wire it like that until you can get an amplifier that is stable at 2 ohms. -

Home Depot sells a synthetic cable "lube". That works quite well in tight places. -
Electrical issue - wiring sub+amp

No. Even if your subwoofer was DVC4 ohm, the best you can do is a final 2 ohm load. Posting your model numbers of the subwoofer and amplifier would help us help you. More information the better. -
The entire motor is different. Can't say on the soft parts, but I would imagine those changed a bit as well.

Use a wire coat hanger. Make a small hook at one end and loop the wire on it and tape it in place with electrical tape. Try to make that point as skinny as possible to aide getting it through the hole. Then just Fish it through. -
I doubt you'll have the space in a beetle to fit a box large enough for 4 12" BTL's.

Your amps won't survive long at .25 ohms a piece. -
WTF? Why not? Resistance will probably be less in a unibody car by simply running a line to the battery instead of grounding to the car body. When grounding a piece of equipment, the best ground is the one with the least amount of resistance. Or as close to 0 ohms as possible.

Sub displacement is usually so minimal, it won't change the sound noticeably.

Do us a favor and take a couple of measurements with a DMM. Measure at the alternator, at front battery, after the fuse, at the HC600, and finally at the amp. Post those results here. Do it with the car idling. -
You do not have BP power.

New Amp Problems
johnecon2001 replied to tech2332's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
If the fuse was too small, it would have popped by now. Go get a DMM and check your voltage at the battery, before the fuse, after the fuse and at the amp. Post those numbers here.
