Hi Albert. What's your budget like and have you done any electrical upgrades to support a 4000w amplifier?
-
help with 3 sets of components

That's a lot of drivers for a small cabin. Why do you need two sets up front? -
Start a build log!

That's not probable cause. That's exercising a right. "erm Mr. Judge sir, can I have a warrant to search this guys car?" "Do you have probable cause?" "well he told me 'no' I couldn't search his car".... The judge would laugh.

what is the rockford fosgate T20001bd like ?

Those are great amps. It'd be a great match to a standard BTL with no options at 1 ohm. -
15" sub that fits in the smallest possible sealed

Sounds like a good plan haha -
Great install! Your shop makes me jealous.
-
Your right. But if you say no, they can/will call up the Judge, and get a warranty. No problem. Now you have to sit and wait for it to get there. The officer still needs probable cause to ask the Judge for a warrant. Not a chance he'll get it if he has to ask to search your car.

Nicee.. Thats a killer front stage amp.

Great first post! And welcome to SSA! You have a great budget to go off of. So for the best of the best... You could go with the ICON/Sundown Combo that SSA has in the store. http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/shop/in...p;productId=150 And then for your Polks and Opti's the Sundown SAX-100.4 http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/shop/in...mp;productId=35 If you get a solid amp and sub stage, you can see how you like your current speakers with them. If they don't cut the mustard for you, you can always try something else. Your combined measurements for the sub box are 3.27402^3ft, more than enough room to work with for a 12" ICON (you'll want 1^3ft sealed). I recently helped on a 1cuft box for a 12".

Dude... It's COPS. The only reason that show is on TV is to make the Police and Rednecks everywhere look stupid. There is a reason you rarely ever see Scottsdale PD (arizona) or Department of Public Safety (az again) on the show is be because they rarely fuck up. I'm sure they do some times, but if you're being filmed for TV.. they take it right out of the book. Now as far as what happened to you.. He was threatening you. It's your fault for letting him get away with that regardless if it did any harm or not.

10cf each, holy sh1t. i'd rec. around 5cf each with the same tuning He didn't say 10^3ft each.
-
A 3000D would be a bit much for those little woofers.
-
Next time they ask to search your car.. say no. They have to ask if they have nothing on you so that they can get consent to possibly find something. Did you know that there are tards out there that do ride dirty that actually believe they have to let them search? They can't even search it if its for a simple speeding ticket or disturbance. The only time they can search it without consent is when you get arrested for a felony. (I went to school for this)
-
Why not build it yourself?
-
A lot of people with those medium SUV's run port and sub both back. If you're competing, Most run sub up, port back.

johnecon2001 replied to subwoofery's topic in Subwoofers / Speakers
Not that you'll be able to get either for an unknown amount of time here, but I'll stick with Jim. -
For the MAW-15? Your amp budget is quite low. I doubt you'll find anything for $100. Ported box preferably. And no, there are no good prefabricated boxes.

More than 8 cubes per for BTL 18's? Yes/No?

How much space is the port taking up?
