For the Pioneer SPL 12" it is 2.7 cubes each sub ported to 40. Braced very well and 3 4" area port.. subs up ports foward any the only way I can really put it..
-

If you want a cheap built sub, go with the Omega. Now if you want quality, with great customer service go Xcon. Can the xcon take 2500w for bass race? I know there going to be good.. -

How would a xon compare to the OMEGA in terms of SPL, and Power.. Trying to pick either get the OMEGA or the xcon... Any one have any thoughts going gor 2 12"s for spl bass race.. I have a xxx-6500D going to the 2 12"s on 14.4v around 4500w 5000w at 1 ohm in a chevy 2500HD -
How would a IA DP 12" sub do in a box that is 2.742 cubes ported to 40??
-
DO you still have some of these and where can I find the price for them and buy them. Thanks..

I have a chevy 2005 2500 and I am looking for a better and louder then my Pioneer TS-C720PRS setup in the front and TS-C520PRS in the rear. I want something that can keep up and be loud.. Do you guys make something better then the best Pioneer has to offer? If so how much and where can I order them?

Per sub.. Thats what my Funkin Audio subs called for but something is wrong with one and not sure what and trying to find another or get it replace. I would just send them off to FI to recone and redo but not sure if that can be done or not since they are quad and not dual coil.

I got a box built for my 2 Funkin Audio 12" subs but something is wrong with one of them So I used 2 of my Mass destruction napalm's I had never used them before. I had the box built at 2.742 cubes ported to 40 for the funking audios the Mass destruction napalm seem to be doing ok and they seem very very loud.. My question is do you think they will be ok in this space or should I get 2 of something else like the BTL that is good up to 3 cubes.. I am running a xxx-6500d and they seem to be taking it ok I don't want to push them just yet as they are brand new. Open to suggestions don't want to smoke to new subs for sure.
-
Yea I am just going to use the MD's until I can get some BTL's.. Looks like they would be fine in the box Ported box: 1.75-3cuft ( from FI ) I think they will be ok at 40hz as well. 40 does not sound bad but man is it f'ing LOUD.. lol I don't want to bring the ports out side the box I hate the way that looks and looks so clean now so I think I will stick with trying to get an FI or DD set f 12"s to go in there.. If I could find someone that needs my VLX-400 I have been trying to trade that for 2 nice DD's or FI's but no luck yet.

no date is set, but we are only weeks away Sick... Will the work in 2.7 cubes ported to 40? The are designed to be lowend beasts. Why are you so caught up on 40 hz? 40 will work, but you will miss a great deal of your music if you tune that high. Thats what my box is tuned to now.. Really dont want to change it now it looks so nice.. But I may for new subs.. -
Sure here is some pics.. This is all my amps and subs here http://s357.photobucket.com/albums/oo17/re...dioinc/?start=0

Would 2 12" Mayhem's be ok in 2.742 cubes and on a Sound Stream xxx-6500d at 1 ohms?? I was worried about the box being to big I am only about a 1/4 to 1/2 up on gain right now on two Mass Destruction Napalm's and they sound good but are really made for a smaller box..
-
Cool I have about 4 inches from back of the ports to back of the box now I think I can go back 2 more inches on each port 3 4" ports. How could I tell what that would bring me down to? If I do 1" more thats 3 inch total more and 2" more is 6" more port over all. What would be the best one to do? Yea since I only have 3 I think plugging one might not be a good idea.

Damn and i was worried about hurting them on the 6500d.. I did not know anyone else was using these any more.. Nice to see there not total chit.. lol I just installed them today so not a lot of time to play with them yet and trying to take it easy but man they are loud as chit it may be due to the 40Hz tuning, I mean it does not sound bad but do you think it would sound better if I lowered it? The box has 3 4" areo ports how would I lower the tuning now if I wanted to? Add a port or plug a port? I want to compete with this setup or something very close any idea what close this puts you in?

Want to know how 2 12" Nightshade would do in 2.742 cubes and on a Sound Stream xxx-6500d at 1 ohms?? I was worried about the box being to big I am only about a 1/4 to 1/2 up on gain right now on two Mass Destruction Napalm's and they sound good but are really made for a smaller box.. Also how much are the 12" version did not see it on the site or missed it.

Thank you very much I will check them both out..
-
Thanks Duran, I might have to go with BTL's then as they are good up to 3 cubes about the best I have found that can work in the box I now have...
-
I use a PG ZX-50 for the fronts. I have 2 PG zx-500's I could switch it out and run one PG ZX-500 on the from and one of the rears.
-
It s 2.742 each Ported to 40 Yea I know, I tested this and thats why it's 1/4 to 1/2 not wide open.. I set the volume to 20 every time I setup my system to help tune it seems to work. But man these things are LOUD I am not saying thats a bad thing for sure, but I just don't want to see them go up in flames due to a huge box. The info I have says 400wrms 1000 ( something ) then 3000max I know not to look at the max but from everything I can find these things can take a pounding.
-
Thanks for the info, where can I find some good ones and do they make them in all sizes? I would like to be able to keep them hidden if I can and should I run another amp for these?? Never used these before so want something good for sure..
