You running those Crossfire horns? What do you think of those? I haven't heard much about them. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> well they do get ungodly loud, like to the point where it hurts and you have to get out of the truck. I did have them hooked up for a while and they weren't even properly mounted under the dash they were just on the floor. They do need EQing though, I'm not gonna say how much b/c I've never heard a properly EQ'd setup I just know they could sound better. I'll give my full review on the horns and other items once I get the EQT's to match with the 4xs =p, and once I get my hands on an RTA. lol

my system better sound nice, or I'm gonna give up on audio. LOL
-
see sig I'm still in need of EQT's, but I will get them someday. Oh I need wires, RCA's, Alt, and amps. I got a long way to go still

Ok, well I was on my way to class and was running pretty late. Well as I was going down the road I came to in intersection, but it was still a good ways away I could just see it. Anyways, I see this buick coming around the corner just fuc*in flying, and the buick goes into a wall that's across the street. By this time I was close and stopped my truck and run to see if the person driving was ok (I couldn't see who it was b/c there was smoke). I get to the car and I see it's my grandfather, by this point there are about 10 nurses and some other people who stopped to see if the man was ok. I was in complete shock and could not believe it, I mean what are the odds of me being at the same spot at the time of the accident and it being my grandfather. If you are wondering why there were nurses it's b/c there was a hospital about 20 feet from the accident and they were outside smoking. His car is gone, I think he may have hurt his neck and upper back but that's all I know as of right now. They police said, and from what my grandfather said, the cause of the accident was his shoes. Yes his shoes, the reason being is he had wet grass on his shoes and his foot slipped off the brake pedal and he panicked and hit the gass pedal. If he hadn't of hit the wall at an angle like he did he probably would have died. I dunno what a really really crappy day, it really tore me up to have to see something like that and know what could have happened. Just thought I'd say I probably won't be around the boards much tonight and maybe tomorrow but I'll see you guys later. -chris

after all ready finding reviews of the powerbass 1 n 5 being returned, I think I'll stay away from those. I'm about to read a review though from guys over at sounddomain. Thanks for the suggestion though denim =P here's a pretty good review so far of the subs you mentioned denim. Sounds like they are nice speakers, just had me worried about people saying they easily break.... http://forum.sounddomain.com/forum/ultimat...c&f=11&t=070908 guy on there says the PBX's can be had for 240 a piece. That's 50$ cheaper then what I will pay for the Ti. Not to shabby I suppose.
-
oh snap, they sell these on sounddomain. wtf......? edit: wait nm they don't, I guess those are old links......
-
they are only going to see about 750 watts or so. I'm not really sure how much space the TI will need, I'll have to do some research on it. I'm buying it tonight most def b/c I can't find the cmpx. I must also bid on the EQT's tonight as well, must have EQTS?1@#@!!@#

Coldplay = win at life. They aren't emo though, if you were calling them emo. Some of chris's lyrics could, I guess, be considered emo but I don't think so.
-
currently listening to : Coldplay - white shadows (they were fuc*ing awesome live) dunno about the temp down here but it feels great. Light breeze, sunny. Couldn't ask for a better day

oh I bought dave chappelle season 1 @ 2 the other day, best dvds I have bought yet. Well they rate pretty high up there with family guy, but season 2 of chappelle is just to funny. oh and jntar my man I will not be making the meet tomorrow, sorry some plans came up for this weekend with the lady friend and a dance she wants to go to. I'm real sorry man, but we'll eventually get started on my system! lol whens the next weekend you have off? I think my weekend off will be Oct 7,8,9th. We should plan something for that weekend. I'd love to have my system instaleld before my b/d =P Plus I should have the TI and EQTS, and maybe some amps (orion no less) by then =D.

today is just not a good day I suppose
-
yay, my 4xs cross over came in the mail today. yay! and my grandfather is ok yay! a horrible day turned into a great one =P
-
well thanks for the kind words guys but luckily my grandfather is just fine. He's just really sore in his neck and is badly bruised on his arms. He is very very lucky, good ol seat belt and air bags helped out. Like I said, he's very lucky to walk away from an accident like this, b/c if he would have hit it dead on............well you can probably guess. oh and supa sorry to hear about your bro's friend. Oh I forgot to mention, he's also 82 years old so the longer he can be around the better.

Sucks to hear that steve. Getter better man, and win some money in the process ;P
