If you were a father and your son gave you the complete Mash dvd collection would you consider that a pretty cool present? I'm thinking about getting that for my dad. He loves that show so I think I just may buy him that. It's either that or the Soprano's, lol.

yeah I'd agree with that. Garage Inc was pretty much bleh, except for whiskey in the jar. Master of Puppets is by far one of my all time favorite songs along with call of the Ktulu. !!!!! Dark side of the moon, I'd have to go with Speak To Me/Breathe or The Great Gig In The Sky. Add in LoverMan, Turn the Page, Astonamy and Free Speech For the Dumb.......... And on DSOTM I gotta say I love the whole album........no best song IMO. Well money does rank pretty high up there. J yeah turn the page was a pretty good remake. Yeah I'll agree with ya jay, Dark Side of the Moon is def an album to listen to all the way through. Those are just the tracks that I remember hearing for the first time and going "holy chit." Ya know? Trust me I used to sit in my room in the dark with my black light going and have DSOTM cranked up pretty loudly on the cornwalls. I know this is weird to say but it's an album that puts me at ease, while I listen to it...it's almost like time stops and all the troubles of the world cease to exist.

Name a band that hasn't gone downhill overtime. The better the band the faster the downhill IMO. Pretty much the first few years are almost always better to me. After that bands tend to get more mainstream and no longer as passionate about their recordings or more importantly how they play live. I can hardly think of an example of otherwise. IMO Metallica was done more than 10 years ago. Pink Floyd instantly popped into my head. That band has never gone downhill.....They could easily sell out a stadium if they asked 500 dollars for nosebleed tickets. Now they didn't start out to well with that stuff like Metal, piper at the gates of dawn, ya know stuff like that but once Dark side of the moon hit from there on afterwards they were amazing. Tool and Coldplay could also be considered amazing groups that haven't gone down hill, YET...I mean they could easily b/c tool has only been around for 15 years were as coldplay has only been out for 6 or 7 years mainstream wise. That's probably one of the reasons I Love Pink Floyd, tool, and coldplay so much they are very musically talented and show no signs of disappointing there fans. I write all this as Battery is going on in the background :rockwoot:

I watched the making of the Black Album last night...God wtf happened to Metallica. Seriously? How do you go from making freakin amazing tones on the guitar, metal sounds and then make that some kind of monster album bullchit of an album. It just boggles my mind how a band loses its touch that much.

Ryan you're correct, this hop has been dead for the past couple days. Sad really. I think my parents are actually serious about me getting a new car.....if they are, I'll have to get rid of my car audio stuff to fund this so called new vehicle. I'm not sure what they have in mind but I do have to pay for some of it like my truck. I wonder what kind of budget they are giving me. I would love to have an Acura TL, those cars are so damn sexy it's not even funny.

gonna start looking on ebay pretty seriously for a mountain bike. I've all ready paid my bills for this next coming month and not this coming thursday but the next I get paid again and all that can go towards a bike....plus I have 200 dollars left over.
