THEN, I have to ask my parents to loan me some money and tell them I've wanted this head unit since I saw it in the car audio mag back in 2001. It's only like 130 bucks I need from them and I'll get paid that week, it's just getting them to loan me the money. I have a feeling the answer will be no, so most likely I won't be getting the Unit. lol

Most people suck at interviewing so they ask questions that they read somewhere on the net are good ones to ask. To me I like to spend about 10 minutes with someone and if I approve, go do something social with them and get to know them. Judging character is much easier that way and of translates those little pieces of paper called resumes pretty well. Well I talked to my dad about it and told him what I said(response wise) and he said I did fine. He gives interviews all the time because he's a purchasing manager out at his job. The guy was just reading questions off of a piece of paper so I mean it's not like he was thinking of this stuff. We'll see in a couple days I suppose.

I'm going back up there after I make myself a sandwich and talk with my friend who works back there. See how things go for him on a typical day. I hope I get a 2nd interview at the least.

MAN. Who would have thought best buy of all places had some of the harder job questions. I was so not ready for some of those questions. Usually places ask questions like, "were do you plan to be 5 years or what goals do you have in life." Not, "Where have you found yourself in a multi-task situation and how did you handle it." I was like "uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh." In my head of course not out loud but I came up with some lame excuse from work(my current job.) Geez I hope I did good, I think I owned them on some of my questions though I asked how they set there gains, like if they used test tones and a DMM or if they had a different method. The guy goes, "honestly man I don't work in that department I don't know you'd have to ask one of them." I also asked "how do you feel about type Args?" ;x

I'll lose money but if I stay there long enough I can make close to what I'm making right now. For reference I make a little over 10 dollars right now at my current job but I'll probably start out at 8 something with best buy. It's not like I'm doing this for the money though, it's just I've always wanted to work in the car audio field and I see this as my chance. Btw that dude that has a thread over at ca.com asking about a 500 budget system needs to just buy whatever he wants since he's not taking anyones advice really. Some people just piss me the fudge off. I told him he should get a single RLP 12" or a GTI 12" with an older model DEI 1100D or a viper 1200D but he has his heart set on Args.....or cadence. GOOD LUCK WITH THAT, LOL.

oh boy oh boy Best Buy called back today. I've got an interview with them Tuesday at 11:00. Any pointers?? I've never applied for a car audio job before. w0000000000t, I'm excited!!!! It could possibly put my foot in the door for other install jobs.

yeah I came home tonight to see pieces of what look like an ak47 disassembled, just laying out in the middle of the floor. I was like "wtf is this?" BTW I've been picking up lollapalooza on xm radio and last nights performance sucked but today is much better. I listened to Ben Harper earlier and now I'm listening to Pete Yorn interview.
