Ported enclosure will not give a better response at the lower frequencies... after tuning frequency the roll off is super steep. -
I'm down 22 pounds to 222 since the 7th of March now... funny too. Favorite number is 22.

IMO, a 4" port would be a touch small even with less friction because of less surface area. I ran my RLp12 in a 2.0 tuned to 28Hz. Talk about a low end monster.
