Even if you grab some protein powder, milk & oatmeal, and blend them up.... that would be a good breakfast. Good carbs, protein & a small amount of fat to start the day. My ideal (which I rarely have time for) breakfast is 3 whole eggs & a bowl of oatmeal with a glass of skim milk.

The Sundown 100.4 can be used to crossover actively. Willing to do that?

is 1000 the same no matter the impedence????
ANeonRider replied to 30hurtzaudio's topic in Subwoofers / Speakers
It will make it hotter because more W created = more heat created as part of the process. -
Couldn't take it anymore: http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/i...ic=9608&hl=

Are you done fucking the vented pole of the Fi BTL yet?

ANeonRider replied to 30hurtzaudio's topic in Subwoofers / Speakers
If you have a sub that has an impedance of 4 ohms, and an amp that outputs 1000WRMS at 1 ohm, you won't be getting 1000W @ 4 ohms unless the amplifier output is regulated.... -
Never used myspace... tried, but it is such a shitty user interface. Facebook on the other hand... Add me.. [email protected]

I'm going to have to write a tutorial on how to set gains with a scope soon here...
-
Both would get the job done... but the second one would probably be easier to use & lighter. Tektronix is the brand I used in school, and use at work.
-
That's your inexperienced opinion. Any o-scope will work, its audio band AC anyways. Find whats cheap, link it here, I, or someone else will let ya know yay or nay

MAW 10's powered off a 9.1 at 1 ohm
ANeonRider replied to UNIT 6639's topic in Subwoofers / Speakers
I have run 3 of them, in parallel (0.67 load) off of a XT2000d, sealed. I wouldn't power them more than that. -
2003 Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V: Project Spec-SQ
ANeonRider replied to ANeonRider's topic in Build Logs
It is about 2.3-2.4 or so. A touch smaller than I would have liked. -
It will make sound... but crossovers are designed for each driver's characteristics. That being said, the crossover points will not be the same as it would be with the original equipment. Would I do it? No. Have I done it for others? Yes, as a temporary fix until I could do something active, or design & build a correct passive crossover.

Wow, one thread not enough?

Why no dual tweeters on speakers?
ANeonRider replied to Audio Junkies's topic in Advanced Discussion
Only reason I can see for dual tweets would be a tweet in the kicks playing the full signal strength, and another smaller tweet in the a-pillar that is attenuated like 6dB & playing 10k & higher to bring the stage height up.
