Monoblock vs Class D Amps
ANeonRider replied to turtles1118's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Sound wise... I haven't noted a single thing different compared to any Class A/B I have used. Once I get the front end installed, I'll be doing more critical listening. They do heat considerably, but that is part of the design too. -
Bah, budgets, pfft

Monoblock vs Class D Amps
ANeonRider replied to turtles1118's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
I have a 4 channel stereo full range Class D, therefore not a monoblock Class D -
Funny thread, to me anyways: http://www.diymobileaudio.com/forum/showthread.php?t=17241

LOL. Who would admit to that. O right... I know someone who punched himself into two black eyes & bloody lip... said he was in a car accident, so he could get some time off work. He's a teacher's aide at an elementary school.

Question is still valid.

Ya, same. The XL from Elias was too small for my mute ass.
-
Funny how everyone wants them when you blow them out

Sean.... effin crazy that the bridge went tumbling down. This city has some 100 year old bridges... starting to make me nervous. One was shut down for some time because it failed inspection too :s

That's all I could muster that was half-ass nice.

Must be from Florida.

ran out of matt, fuck

Almost home time, will be worth my time.
-
Would be a good time to do more deadening too... cool enough so the deadener doesn't stick to the paper backing.
-
Perfect day for more door pod action, woop.
-
Couple months now, they are sold through the SHOP too.
-
Typo... he meant underrated. They are throwback amps to the early 90s... if I had the space to give them, I would so be running these amps. Especially for the price of them!

Where are you located?

2003 Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V: Project Spec-SQ
ANeonRider replied to ANeonRider's topic in Build Logs
Yes, I was, briefly lol Just was cleaning up my edges on this pod & making the gap uniform with the door panel. Need to do some sanding still Sunny & 72F tomorrow, so door pod #2 will be started. -
These are local idiots... and I'll probably see one at a dyno day my buddy's shop is putting on... and I probably will try to hurt him once I have some beers in me.
-
Just don't use rear speakers... then you wouldn't have the nasty problem of them pulling the sound to the rear...
-
Vehicle you have would be handy.

People are pissing me off to no extent lately... For example: Moron1: its probably just got torque, and if its got 35" tires, you wont feel any get up and go Other guy: Yeah, shows what you know................ Moron1: I mean, it wont feel like it has get up and go with the massive tires. it will have torque to be able to go through the mud and stuff. I havent seen big trucks make alot of power, mostly tq. Me: TQ is THE measurement of power (well, N*m is in the SI scale, but TQ works)... back to physics class with you! Horsepower is calculated from TQ. HP = (TQ*rpm)/5252 Moron2: the usefulness of google never outreaches you. Me: ya... google, thats it. Moron. Or that I have taken engineering physics courses? Besides, this shit is basic high school 30 level stuff... Moron3: Dude, don't say things like that. You're giving engineers a bad rep. Engineering is no better then any other career. And taking engineering classes doesn't make you smart. Represent yo! FUCK. I'm ready to go on a fucking rampage here.
