    suggestions for sub box

Can't fit anything more than 3" deep underneath them, so you'll need to make a center console enclosure.

The gf's 92 SC gets ~27mpg in the city & ~35mpg on the highway. A 2-3mpg better than my Spec V.

    subs in a convertible?

There is no way to combat it, due to it being a convertible you will be trying to pressurize everything around you at the same time. Key is high efficiency & lots of surface area (think PA subwoofers).

    IXL 10.2.2

http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/i...hl=Mach+5+Audio I haven't used one in a vehicle, but I'm currently using one as my HT subwoofer. What volume are you looking at? Mine is in a 1.1ft^3 enclosure, and I absolutely love it. My living room at the moment is about 16 feet wide by 12 feet deep. In this large room, and only a 10" driver, it definitely has terrific output. I really don't need anymore for my listening habits, both in music & HT. As well, it is very accurate, even in the larger than normal sealed enclosure size (wanted to be able to dig right down to the lower octaves), not one sloppy note or uncontrolled movement. I'm able to throw ~1300W RMS at the subwoofer, and it has still not broke a sweat.

    What happened the MAWs...

The MAW series has lived to the end of its audio lifespan. 500-1500W dependent on install.

Lots of twisting on knee joints when you use your legs in your swing as much as he does. And in the PGA, nobody gets to cart it from shot to shot.
