    MAW-15 on 400w

It is really hard for me to say if it will be enough for you... which is why most of the time you have to try it & gain experience with what you want/desire.

Decided to go back to the basics

Really, the driver's that are playing the midrange frequencies (the most information) should be in the kicks to minimize path length differences, and the midbass, which is less localizable (new word?), in the doors, or other locations.

If you must use two sets of components, I would drop the tweeters on one of the sets & run dual mids w/one set of tweets & the upstage tweeters. Where are all of these drivers going? Not ideal in my mind, but I digress. I would much rather see dual 6.5" midbass (or single 8), a midrange wide bandwidth driver in the kick & upstage tweeters to bring the stage height up.

    Can't run a single D2 @ 2ohms... 1 or 4.

I think so. If not, can always build a ported enclosure.

I think I can guess what Scott is bringing down to test. I wish I could float you my Orion for fun, but I need it. Ya, I'm sure you do know. This is fun, keeping this mysterious.

Ya, that is why I didn't move/delete it. I recognize the user name, which is enough most of the time. I know he posted lots here when he was purchasing/received the MJ18.

www.diymobileaudio.com Good site for driver reviews & install logs, but you do have to take what some members say with a grain of salt.

My Spec has ~150ft*lbs right from idle to redline, which in a small car, is very nice.

How much is a lot? Well, 1200-1500 or so. Not sure what this driver can take (you'll see it, I'll bring it down with me), but I'd like enough on tap to test its capabilities.

mad props to mike from sound splinter

Word. The purchase of my old Rl-p 12 was a very good experience. I'd love to try out a Rl-s 15 IB, would be a low end monster.

    Ok guy I give up

The OP needs to figure out what he wants, because all the advise in the world isn't going to figure it out for him. P.S. There are plenty of members in the OC on DIYMA with excellent SQ setups, I'd advise posting over there. I hate telling someone to go somewhere else for this type of thing, but we don't have any members I can think of off the top of my head in that area.

I wanna get loud...but i wanna sound good

Add, to play SQ loud, you need midrange that doesn't get harsh, muddy & metallic sounding too.

    Welcome to the IHoP

Anyone have an amp with alot of 4 ohm power they aren't using? I'm doing some testing for one of our vendors, and need as much as I can get. If you do, PM me, and we'll talk.
