    Welcome to the IHoP

Kinda lol Made it home 30 min ago... 14.5 hours with two 45min meal breaks & gas breaks in there. I think the total KM driven was ~2950 (~1850 miles ) I drove every mile of it too... since I was probably in the best shape out of everyone. And... why I slammed 3 Guinness at the end of the night is beyond me.

High budget means shit when implementation is 9/10 of it.

Tomorrow. Then the 14 hour drive back home. Broke the ride here into two stages, with an overnighter... but not on the way back.

    Bit by the SQ bug

Just have to remember that the effectiveness of an IB install is HUGELY dependant on the drivers you choose & install you do on the more important speakers that reproduce the musical information on a track. The subwoofer in a good SQ install is the last thing you should be concentrating on.

    Welcome to the IHoP

I like fall/spring. Moderate temps, cool nights. I don't want another winter like we had up here last year, started in the middle of Oct. lasted until May.

Ib = theoretically infinite sealed enclosure. Borrowed from exmaxima1 on DIYMA Firing forward = firing into cabin, rear of sub in the trunk. You can position the subwoofers the other way too, doesn't make a difference in sound.

Going to be nice filling up at American gas prices too. $15/tank cheaper.

amp to run 3 1ohm Qs

Dual 1 ohm can be wired for a 0.666667 ohm load (series-parallel). Dual 2 ohm can be wired for a 1.3333 ohm load (series-parallel). With impedance rise, the 0.66666667 ohm load is fine on a 1 ohm stable amplifier, while the 1.33333 load will be easier on the amplifier. All of this of course depends on what amps you are planning to use? I have used 3 MAW10s in parallel-parallel configuration for a 0.66667 ohm load on an US Amps XT2000d with no isssues whatsoever.

Personally, I'd rather do the IB install behind the rear seats firing forward.
