Averaged 28mpg for the drive, over exactly 1850 miles... not bad considering I was carrying an extra 900 pounds of people & luggage

Never enough, at least it is lighter than mat. I'm thinking of using some of that Barrier Pad from BSquad on DIYMA.

He was super quiet during the drive, probably because he was so hungover he could barely eat.

    Welcome to the IHoP

I realized how much I need more sound barrier in my car... the cement freeways & my tires fought loudly, very loudly.

It was really quite warm during the drive back. Was 86 at the port of entry when we stopped @ 6pm Mountain. Nice day though to drive, no clouds & very little wind.

    GS Redline?

    Never heard of it.

omg the mini is getting a wall?!?!?!?!

walling a mini... which is supposed to be a nimble car, is silly. Along the same lines as trying to put pro audio drivers in there, which have terrible near field response. Wall the explorer if you must. But, I have yet to see one of your project ideas get finished, soooooo.....

    Welcome to the IHoP

Thanks! I really wish we would have had a little more time to go through some more music... but o well. Your truck sounded good too! Still really surprised with the output of the CAs. I have to get you to send me the name of some of those artists we were listening to. Wish I could have come home earlier on Friday so you could have heard the car as well. Completely different focus, the midrange is so much clearer and stage height higher Next time, unless you sell it before then

    Welcome to the IHoP

Kinda lol Made it home 30 min ago... 14.5 hours with two 45min meal breaks & gas breaks in there. I think the total KM driven was ~2950 (~1850 miles ) I drove every mile of it too... since I was probably in the best shape out of everyone. And... why I slammed 3 Guinness at the end of the night is beyond me. Only 3? That was just a chaser from the shots earlier in the evening. I know we drank a few as I left the house with more than $150 and came home with exactly $0 and I don't believe we ever paid more than $5 for any drink other than the $6 Summits at the game but those were 18oz so still reasonable. You drove home, I went to a car show. I didn't really have a hangover, but felt really stupified all day. Ya, I was carrying $120, and was left with $10 We totalled it up among us, and we dropped close to $500 on drinks, and shit were they cheap compared to here.
