One very simple solution to that predicament.

Figure out what equipment you are going to use, because it will drastically change the answer to the question. Personally, I think you need to start simply... simplicity seems to be lost among some. 1 midrange per side, 1 tweeter per side.

Should a Digital Distrobution Block always stay on?
ANeonRider replied to b34tBoX's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Next step is figuring out how large of a parasitic draw you have... pull out your multimeter, disconnect the battery terminal, put the leads in the correct locations for measuring current, and put the position lead on the battery terminal & the negative the power wire. -
What components are going to make up your passive crossovers?

Well considering the battery is still "on" when the car is off, yes. -
Just because something is installed IB, doesn't mean it has good sq.... Oval cones bring all kinds of flexing issues with them.

Picked this HU up. RF stock unit w/ 6 disc changer. Have to wire the 6V preout to RCA cables to run to the H701. Also still need to order the pieces for the C701 controller. http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewIt...em=300253740693 -
Annoyed with the mortgage broker right now.

It's no different than any other wire out there. Remove the outside clear layer, remove insulation...

Picked up the deck I need for the Spec today. Paid $90 less than I was expecting to pay.

Something is wrong with your foot then. Lower octane should always yield better mileage and more power provided the vehicle can run on it. It may just be that is was designed/programmed to run on premium and you're now learning that. Higher octane gasoline has less energy and is harder to burn as well. I get better mileage on Premium fuel as well. Reason is that they use 10% ethanol in all 87 octane fuels here, but none in the 91/92 octane premium fuels.

x2. Also try flipping the phase 180 degrees.
