Power ratings are all relative... 100W @ 1kHz? No way. 100W @ 5kHz? Sure.
-
Not really. Good LFE is a requirement for accurately reproducing a lot of big orchestral works, you aren't going to feel what a contra-bassoon does if there's a sharp rolloff in the bottom octave One 18", sure lol yeah of like a movie theater, but a focus is neather, A couple IASCA world champions & finalists would disagree.

Sask was 18 until the 70s lol, then they raised it. http://www.ccsa.ca/CCSA/EN/Topics/Legislat...geByProvCan.htm

No, it is completely INLINE with physics. It really does matter.... since the amplifier is only powering each driver over their crossover chosen bandwidth, the power is the same on both driver, unless there is a very large overlapping of crossover points (which shouldn't happen). Acidburn described it right.
-
19. Haven't been ID'd in a very long time.
-
Sounds like you have a signal problem, not a driver problem to me.
-
Each driver on the crossover will receive 100W minus the power the crossover dissipates.

no no, he means that Noise-Killers & FatMat are identical... same owner, same warehouse, same everything.

I d/l'd the Metallica Music Video DVD. Great download. I like the new Avenged Sevenfold... maybe because he can't scream much anymore.

You have a very uneducated view of what SQ is.

Birth certificates are a very successful marketing tool. Don't make that little piece of paper mean more than it really does. Good amps, powerful & robust design, efficiency is middle of the road for an A/B amplifier. -
Sounds like the dude that won't admit he pulled in front of me. Deny Deny Deny when you are caught with your pants down.

Sold as-is. All my electronics are sold as-is, same can be said for any auto part I sell.

Probably a state sales tax charge + the added COD charges, etc FedEx would tack onto it. Same... I probably have doled out well over $1000 in brokerage & tax charges on my packages in the last 3 years.

Need a full recone, so whatever the going rate is for that.

Which is why I said aeroport. A 4" aero doesn't make any huffing noise at all.

So, are we going to do this meet thing in the Twin Cities in June still?? What dates??? I should probably put in for that leave right now before I have to be on the road again then. I think I'm going to take 2 strong weeks. I'm already going to be in the area (Rockford/Belvidere) from the 11-18th.
-
meh, i really don't care. BTW, rent money? LOL... not quite an hour of work to make that back.

http://forums.neons.org/viewtopic.php?t=30...&highlight= ugh, sold thousands of dollars worth of speakers & car parts to the US... and there is always a first time for everything I guess. Hell, I didn't even know you guys to the south got hit with brokerage fees as well.

damn, I thought the 36 when I woke up this morning was freezing Depends on how the cold front moves I guess, could see temps close to -55 w/ the windchill.
-
-45 or so tonight with the windchill. Brrrrrr.

Don't rely on "modelling" programs. Mike has always stated that the Rl-p models weird. I can say 2ft^3 tuned to 28Hz doesn't sound weird at all.

I hope this bullshit gets figured out soon... I'm only home for 4 weeks of the next 4.5 months.
