They have it on tap at the training facility bar in Cornwall, only beer worth drinking there since the Guiness is always an old keg (and you can tell the difference easily). It is a little sweet, so I cannot drink too much of it (good or bad).

    Welcome to the IHoP

I have to look, only time I've had it was when I've been in Montreal. I refuse to drink a stout from a can or bottle, only on tap, so I might have a hard time. What I really need to do is make my own tap/keg cooler & somehow get a fresh keg shipped to me

    Welcome to the IHoP

this makes me wonder y u would put up with such extreme weather? (but i can see if thats where u grew up or ur job is there.) im content with sweating more here in texas then having my nuts froze off lol grew up here. It's really not THAT bad... just learn to layer up, and pick up indoor hobbies. It's not like it is this cold ALL the time. I just spent an hour outside getting a friend's car running, and I wasn't cold at all. We do get 100+ degree days in the summer too. One of the few places in the world that goes from one extreme to the other.

    converting component audio to hdmi

Yes, it does support digital audio. Problem is you need a converter to convert the analog signal to 1's & 0's. You are not going to find anything cost effective to do the conversion. http://www.svideo.com/ypbpr2hdmi.html This will only convert one source. You would need a switch to connect more than one source to the converter. If you only want to run one input into the TV, best route would be to use a Receiver that will convert an analog input into a digital signal, and has HDMI output to the TV.

    converting component audio to hdmi

Component Video is analog, HDMI is digital... not sure where audio comes into the equation, not too sure why you want to even do such a thing. Component video can display up to 1080i anyways.

The warmer weather won't be lasting alright. Warmed up here to around the 0F temp, and a storm is coming in tonight, followed by -40F weather, before the windchill.
