New frames with transitions lenses & anti-glare coating. The transitions lenses aren't cheap.

Just spent $408 on new glasses, and that was supposedly 1/2 off.

Saw a car on the way to work this morning that had its rear suspension so broken that the rear bumper was almost dragging on the ground & the wheel was bouncing up & down going down smooth pavement.

How can you oxygenate water more than it already is??? Marketing bullshit, yet again. It's called H2O for a reason.

I just fill up a jug from the tap & throw it in the fridge to make it colder. Growing up, it was out of a well with no flouride or anything added, all natural spring water well. All this sugared-over crap water supplement bullshit is yet another reason why diabetes is on the rise & obesity is the norm. Even drinking bottled or frozen juice is stupid really... just eat the damn fruit & drink water. Get more nutriution & you aren't pumping up your blood sugar in the process.

Impedance doesn't matter at all, I have a dual 4 ohm sub, 4 ohm mids, 8 ohm tweets & 8 ohm midbass, and it doesn't make a lick of difference if I used other impedances of the same driver. A crossover worth using is adjustable. The flexibility or ease of use of a driver will determine how much resolution you need in a crossover. Yes, you can buy headunits with crossovers. Pioneer 880PRS, Alpine Bass Engine Pro HUs, as well as the Pioneer P9 combo & Alpine H701 processor. Ural makes one too. Easiest & cleanest? No matter what, active means you need to run a single channel to a single driver. No way around that. If you want easy, stick with a passive boxed component set. Active is much more flexible & opens up driver choices, but it isn't easy.

Wire is wire is wire is wire is wire. And there isn't any need to use 8ga wire for subs.

Fiber Glass Resin would have prevented that i do all the insides of my boxxs No, it will not. Resin alone has no strength... Wish people would figure this out already, not sure how this myth got started.

Stupidity is contagious through bottled water.

Have you ever driven out that way? If I am heading back around that time we'll caravan. Never, which is why I want to

I hate the wind. I really, really hate the wind The town itself is alright - I have a good position at the University so I can't complain and won't be going anywhere for at least three years. Next June ... I should be here unless I am away for vacation/conference/research. Are you staying on Highway 3 all the way through into BC or going North after Lethbridge? I might pop up in Saskatoon for a conference at some point in the future. Plan is to take the south way all the way to Hongcouver.

You don't need foil for corn, for god's sakes you live in Tx. It comes in a perfect grilling wrapper, just remove the hairs, soak the whole husk in water and plop them whole on the grill. When done you can unwind the leaves and you have a free handle. Since you are grilling, grill the Asparagus too. Roll it in Olive oil first and either salt/pepper or Cajun season it and grill as well. It only takes a few minutes and a little blackness on it is good eats. Just did asparagus like that on Monday. Made a dijon sauce to top it off with, heaven.

P.S. Next June, the girl & I plan on driving through that way on our way to Victoria.

Back to BC. Yep, through the mountains. I'm going to leave early (~5AM) in hopes of avoiding most of the tourist and semi traffic. You are right - 100 km/h the majority of the way. I won't hit more than 105 as the highway cops are more than happy to write you a ticket for that. 110 km/h from Lethbridge to Fort Macleod on the freeway (only about 45 km's). Didn't know you were in Lethbridge, how's the wind?

The Golf gets around 5.5L / 100km TDi?

Plus, I think the speed limit is 100km/h. Very few roads in Canada are higher than 100km/h limited. It was sure different going down the interstate in ND @ 80-85mph.
