would a 15 Fi BL dual 2ohm, flatwind coil, and cooling. ran by a hifonics bxi1608D at 1ohm. in a 3.75cu. ft. box tuned to 32hz compare to this: 3 12" older pioneers that are single 4ohm voice coils. 400 watts RMS each. in a box tuned to 37hz. each sub seeing about 1cu.ft. each. ran by a hifonics bxi1208D at 1.33ohms i listen to rap and would a fi BL 18 in a 5cu ft box tuned to 32hz and everything else the same as the 15 be alot louder then the fifteen?

i never spray painted a box before and from the looks of it i think urs is sprayed. i was just curious did u use any special paint? and does the box smell like the spray paint alot? and by the way u did a great job!

well i am still trying to find the sub for me but i need some help.what would be louder? ok i trying to decide between a Fi BL 18 or a Fi Q 18. the BL would have these options: dual 2ohm cooling-yes flatwind coil-yes SPL or Daily-DAILY Extreme lead-no universisal-yes Fi Q 18 options dual 2ohm BP power-yes both would be in 6 Cu. Ft. tuned to 33Hz the amp would be a hifonics Bxi1208D the amp would be ran @ 1ohm and would be roughly putting out 1200 watts RMS i listen to all rap i am getting a 1995 chevy blazer

well somebody is probably going to say im wrong but to hook up the remote on a stock radio i think u have to tap the radio power wire then run the wire to the amp. or you can tap the power and then run a wire from were you tapped it to a switch so u can turn it on and off when you want.

i know i got the amp for free and i know it sucks bad. u guys are completely right. but if IF i do run it then it will only be ran for 3 or 4 weeks until i can get some cash for the hifonics amp.

if it does put out 2k then be easy on the gains. well i dont know how much experience u have had with legacy but u dont think it would put out any were near that much would you?

i have another question. i have this legacy amp that is only about 4 months old and it just lying around my house. it says in the manual it will put out between 1000-2000 watts RMS @ 4-8 ohms briged. now i no for a fact this amp is way over rated. so lets say it was magical and did put out 2000 watts RMS would it hurt an 18 BL in any way? well if i did run this amp it would only be for about a month until i get the hifonics.

i want to build a box but i cant find MDF wood any were so i was wondering if useing ply wood would make a big difference

i am kind of a newbie and i was think of getting an 18 ssd fully load with a 1800 watt kenwood amp wired to 1 ohm @ roughly 1000 watts RMS. in a 6 cu. Ft. box tuned to 26 hz. do you think it would be louder then 3 cheap 12's

well i found a different amp. do you guys think this would push around 1000 watts RMS @ 1 ohm? what is a better overall speaker? an 18 INCH fi audio SSD with BP on and flatwind coils and dual 2 ohm. OR 18 INCH fi audio Q with BP off and dual 2 ohm the SSD would be in 6 cu. Ft. tuned to 33hz the Q would be in 6 cu. Ft. tuned to 28hz both would be ran by a KAC-9104D which they would have roughly 1000w RMS the electrical would be premium which is what ever it needs to be to run the subs well the vehicle is 1995 chevy blazer i listen to all rap music im not looking for SPL

i found some wood but they dont show prices on line so can any body estimate how much a 3/4 thick 4x8 sheet would be?
