Get the BTL fully loaded. It is the way to go, I am extremely happy with mine. I would recommend at least 1 extra battery and some 0 gauge knu wire from front to back.

I just realized that IA is located like ~3 hours away from me...... I have been wanting to check out these products and take a break from FI. I would like to drive up and take a look around sometime if it's possible.... maybe in a couple of weeks or so. I'd like to see what IA is about!

Are the subs built in house?.... if so would it be possible to get a look around? I'd really like to see these products personally, I hate online buying.

btl's can take a beating and stat fairly cool. -
I got mine in today.... I can't find the thread about them. Are they all gone? I have to admit they are cute..... lmao they have miniature fi dustcaps. It's like a baby bl.
-
I will put some on later..... after I get them in my boat. Which would be after I get back from the beach
-
Damn, no Fi btl ftw
-
A 22 inch bl? I don't think so Wish they had a recone to make a btl a 21
-
Are you asking for pics from me? And lmfao I can't stop looking at the miniature dust caps..... it doesn't even look right. The best thing I could compare this to is a kicker comp with a larger magnet..... the surround is almost identical in size.

I have been using a stock HU with a LO convertor.... and I want to get the most out of my system. Problem is, I have a tahoe and I don't want to kill the functionality of onstar / anything else. What I want is a touch screen radio that is reliable and has good eq adjustments. I also need to plug my Ipod into it..... nav isn't really needed but it would be nice too. I was wondering if any of you would have some suggestions? Thanks

To power what?

I love the amount of air they move and the sound they produce. I wouldn't trade the lows for anything... Plus there is still a "wow" factor with that large of a sub. I plan on getting a btl 21 as soon as it is released.

We need some pictures of the NEW dustcap colors and I want to know how much it will cost for a few new dustcaps!

Note that I am going to double baffle this and add a bunch of bracing to the box.... along with carpet / etc.

Finally got my BTL in and installed yesterday afternoon...... may I say that I feel extremely sorry for the UPS guy(s) that do the pickups at FI car audio....... I had NO IDEA that this sub would be so heavy.... I'm pretty stout and I swear this thing was nearly impossible to pick up and move ~50 feet. Putting it in the sub hole without crushing your fingers is nearly impossible.... But I could care less about the weight and pain in the a$$ that it is to move / install because this thing is LOUD. It performs like no other sub I have ever seen or heard.... excursion is amazing on this thing, and it broke my dash board where the cluster connects to the dash board.... doesn't move as much air as 2 18's but it has more force than the 2 BL's.... I rate this as 10/10. If you want a perfect sub that gets sexy low and will beat the hell out of you and your vehicle, look no further than the BTL. I love you FI!

With the increasingly low cost of laptops I would go with a tc or some sort of vehicle... nothing beats a reliable vehicle. You can get a nice laptop now for ~400 dollars. I recently built a high end computer for ~600 bucks.... computer component pricing is so low.... go with the car

Didn't work for me.

When those 21's come out that should look pretty cool I know I am the only one within ~20 miles of where I live that has 18 inch subs....
-
Fi is great. .... but I personally love large subs, so of course I am going to turn you into the direction of 18 inch bl / btl with that amp

edit: I suck at reading.

I am sorry to hear that.... where is Incriminator Audio located at?... Just saw the locations listed and noted they are a couple of hours away from me....

BTL 18

Sorry for the wait..... box is simple and took ~4 hours to complete. I am waiting to put carpet on until my btl 18 comes in and I make sure this thing is going to stay together . I am getting a little better and more efficient each time I build a new box.... I must say this one went together with ease.... gorilla glue is the best stuff on earth. It holds like no other, and the expansion is perfect to make sure the box keeps a tight seal. It has a bl 18 installed in the pictures.... I love how this box is much smaller gives me some extra room and turned out to be exactly what I wanted.

I ordered these things early last week and I was wondering when I would get them in.... I have yet to receive any tracking information or emails..... Also note these were supposed to be shipped in bl 18 boxes. Thanks

I ended up just using a standard box calculator..... hope it works out. I am going to start on the box in a couple of hours... will post pics later tonight. Only reason I like port back is because that's the way I have always done it.... i've never tried any other configurations. I would prefer subs and port forward to stop all the cargo door vibration.... but after trying it with a sealed box I don't like it.
