In my many years of designing enclosures I have found that 5Hz below tuning frequency is about right for any given enclosure---the -3dB roll-off should be around 5-10Hz below tuning frequency anyway---so 5-10Hz below tuning for the sub-sonic filter should be ok.

Brahmas are great in an IB set-up

more BL---more xmax---more thermal wattage----oh yeah---and XBL^2---I will never own another sub without it.---high BL is good but flat BL is ALOT better.

Frozen spider----if you can't even press on it without it feeling stiff----sorry---you are out of luck---I could recone it for you but you might want to check into a new sub(maybe yours is still under warrenty---but some companys don't do frozen spiders under warrenty) better luck next time. word from the wise---use more gain and LESS bass boost.

check voltage on the power wire---then check the ground were it connects to the chassis of the car---check for resistance. If they are all ok---I might be able to bust open the boards and check them for you.

Sweat Pant material---resin soaks in good and holds form very well once dried. Try it---it works---it is what I made my enclosures out of.

check the ground on the front stage amp----try taking the sub amp out of the system and see if there is a differance.need any other help email me @ [email protected]

well after about 6 months of design and prep work my new install is almost finished. ***it has been Top Secret for the whole time---a few people know about it*** here is some teasers though duel 250 amp alts----1 subwoofer----1 amp----1 HU----a few batterys don't worry----i will post pics when finished

i'm not---I was sending 3000 to 2 15's-----but I have put over 3000 on one---hell---50,000 watts was put on a Brahma 15 in a 5 cube sealed enclosure----you can do it if you know what you are doing.

sssshhhh just kidding----I sold it for $250---NIB----guy asked and I had no use for it anymore---- 2 15's with over 3000 watts=too much bass for me It should be done either thursday or friday---just doing some finishing touches---yeah right---I have to build a custom bracket for the duel alt setup---and do some trim panels. I just hope you all like it.

ok---it is a Brahma 15---I am going for SQ with alittle SPL---but not much---only about 3000watts + of SQ

is more than likely excess glue around the former burning off---if it continues to do this it could heat the VC too much and cause warping of the VC. Hope this helps.

I have a friend selling 2 of the ComPX2 15's and an ENCLOSURE FOR $900 I will see if he will part them out for you

depending on the size of the enclosure---as the size goes up---the sensitvity goes up(doesn't need as much power)

I still remember the old Hart Attack boxes that I used to make----3.25 cubes tuned to 32Hz with alittle over 35SI of port----hell I think Hart was the biggest thing around here when I was growing up.
