Well, I ended up getting her an 8gig Fuze with expandable mem just to see how much she would actually use the thing. And would'nt you know she loves it!!!. Uses the thing all the time. So in a couple of months she wants to upgrade to a larger storage model and give this one to the oldest son of ours. By the way what are some good earbuds that are easy on the wallet? -
That's what I figured, but just wanted to get some more opinions, edumacated guesses. thanks

I decided to temporarily put in one of my SE12's in at 2ohms on my T3002 in mono mode. Giving it approx. 800 watts. The box is 2 cubes after all displacement. For the port I doulble up a pc of 3/4" MDF and glued a pc of 4" pvc pipe through 1 layer and router a 1/2" radius on the top layer to make a homemade aeroport. The length overall of this port is 13". I don't believe I am right in thinking the tuning is at 32. Can someone double check me on this. Also am thinking about shortening the lenght of the port to get about a 35 hz tuning. This is just a temporary daily box for me to have something till it warms up. But I listen to all kinds of music so I needed some beat in the truck. Thanks and much appreciated for any help given.

To start off everything that I'm getting together will be going in this.... So here is the latest shipment to arrive today.. What are they??.. well considering the price I paid I can't complain....$115 shipped ea. The obvious back shot.... My wife bought the subs, and these also for me for my Christmas gift, 2 sets of PG Rsd 6.5's Gotta love her. What amps am I gonna be installing well here is 2 of them. 1 RF PowerT3002 for the PG components and 1 Sundown SAZ-1500D. Soon to be a 2nd SAZ-1500D after I get it from Jacob very soon. 1 1500D per pair should be suffecient. And then how about a group picture Now next on the list is electrical upgrades so gotta get started on getting all of that together. i am taking my time with this one and gonna do it properly. So still got a little bit to go before I start the build. Also going to start looking at designing a box for the 12's. Just had to show off a little. Plus the oldest boy of mine is itchin' to get started.

audiopulse axis- questions, any experience with them
TOOLMAKER posted a topic in Subwoofers / Speakers
Right now i am looking around at different subs for the new set-up. I have never owned nor heard any tc sounds based subs. found the axis's , but have limited knowledge about them. I'm looking at the 12" version. How good are they compared to others in their price range( approx. 300.00 shipped). Any drawbacks, etc. I have 1 SAZ-1500 and am getting a 2nd for power. As far as what I''m looking for is loud daily that sounds great. Tried a search on the forum here and get an IPS error. Just waying options right now. And thanks in advance. Toolmaker -
audiopulse axis- questions, any experience with them

I was looking at 2 of them. So i take it that 1500 watts each won't do these any good? I know they are rated at 2500rms, but should have asked is 1500 enough. -

Thanks for all the advice. I will probably stick with Ipod, and get the flash drive. -
I have read/searched quite a few posts and I am a little confused as to which subs Sundown is currently offering for sale. I know about the Nightshades, but what else is currently available for sale? If you could do a simple list it would be appreciated. Thanks, Toolmaker

What subwoofers are sundown offering currently?

Thanks guys. Jacob, how many of the SA 12's on an SAZ-1500D? I almost have the rest of the money saved for the 2nd 1500D. So will be running 2 of the 1500D's total. And any real eta on the SA's. If you need to PM about that, as I am seriously interested in them. I have the room in the Suburban. Toolmaker -
The only problem right now is that only are you(american manufacturing) dealing with the chinese, but also the India's and stuff coming up. Think about this, China probably has the world's largest population use of bicycles. They (China) has now, "offshored" most of the manufacturing of those to India because of cheaper to produce. At the plant where I work at we had a layoff today. 50 people let go out of 380. And another planned around the end of Jan. One of our biggest customers decided to go "offshore".

Did a couple of search's and did not find anything close to what I wanted to know. Bassically is the regular anodized aluminum trim plate that sits on top of the map removable without doing anyharm to the amp itself, by removing the 2 SHCS located on either end. Reason why I am asking is I wanted to make a custom plate for mine. Thanks in advance for any help. Toolmaker

Tool and Diemaker actually by trade. I can program,set-up, and run, CNC equipment(lathes, mills, routers, wire edm, etc) on top of my other duties.

Basically just to be a little different, add my own signature to the install when I start to do it. There's not much I can't do when it comes to working with raw materials and making an end product. I guess you could call it a little customization.

Harm it . Na, it will be just replaced after I make the new one. thanks for the quick replies.

Found this place from the other forums I lurk at. Do alot of reading mostly, not a whole lot of posting yet. Getting back into the scene after a 6yr layout. Should be getting the 1st of 2 SAZ-1500D's that I have planned for a new system tomorrow in the mail. So later on I will probably post alot more.
