So i figure what the hell might as well post this up, this was at Midwest SPL Finals (so its legit, best ive done is a 150.5 with these, just not at an event, and it was much colder of a day when i did that compared to this). this metering style is on the glass (like db drag) but with windows and doors able to be open during the run. and yes, i lost to an AQ HDC3, but thats not the point of this LOL system is in a 1997 chevy cavalier, box is around 5 cubes with a 6" aero, burps at 42 hz, enjoy the vid (best if watched in hd)

if you have 2 dual ones just get one decent sized amp that runs at 1 ohm, wire up to 2 ohms then back down to 1 ohm. that easy, How do you wire 2 dual 2ohm to 2ohm and then back down to 1ohm ??? can you explain this to me ? He said dual 1's, you cant with dual 2s

if you have 2 dual ones just get one decent sized amp that runs at 1 ohm, wire up to 2 ohms then back down to 1 ohm. that easy, dont run at half ohm for daily, it destroys things...

SPL: more Port Area or lower Port Mach?????
antonmiller replied to imhungnurnot's topic in SPL & SQ / Fabrication
test, with spl every little thing will change somthing, whether its your impediance rise or your score alone. every little thing changes somthing. for my car, small port was better, now for yours, huge port might be better (and by small port i mean 5 sq per cube!) So there will never be a straight awnser for this, its somthing you need to find on your own, with testing. -
Well some peeps sent me up a nightshade to play with (Thanks Travis and Eric!!) well on with my results thus far. Box is my standard "scrapy" box, 2.7 cu ft with one 6" aero tuned to about 39 hz where my car peaks at 42 hz. Car is a 1997 Chevy Cavalier z24 I have 1 yellow top battery under hood and one kinetic in the trunk. the results are: dB drag: 148.3 bass race: 147.3 Midwest spl: 149.5, 149.3 on video Usaci: 150.6 Street beat: 149.2 Now i have an saz-3500 to throw on it, we will see how far this jumps
