Okay, thanks for the help guys.

Okay, it says billing info received. So that means they still have to build it? I believe Nick and Scott have been out for the holidays or something.

Finally got the head unit, usb interface and whatnot. :bigclap: I'm glad it has a remote, a little easier to adjust the gains and tune everything.

Especially the Jewish people. I hope your Hanukkah is going good.

It usually gets hot after about 1 hour of playing really loud. I'll just watch it really closely.

Probably a stupid question but I'm wondering how I would go about hooking up my 15" SSD to my home stereo receiver. I think its a 100 watt per channel receiver @ 4 or 8 ohms. Just wondering if there is any way to do this or is it just stupid.
-
Mine is D1. So I'll destroy my receiver if I do it?
-
Alright, thanks for the help. Its gonna rattle my house like crazy at least until I get it in my car and its still going to rattle my house, my 12's are extremely chitty and they manage to rattle my doorknob. edit: ah that explains it, but the sub won't be seeing a 2ohm load will it?
-
Tell me how to dooooo it. Like what wire goes where, lol
-
Fair trade lol I shoulda asked for atleast one of the premier models, now those are nice.
-
You have the same receiver? And how should I wire it?
-
But what I need more than anything. Is some damn eggnog.
-
Woah its not going on my room receiver permanently I was just gonna hook it up to test it out and make sure everything works.

I think I have a pioner deh-4000 under the tree calling my name.

Here is my receiver, its what has been fueling my audio passion for the past 4 years I got it when I was 12. Along with 2 12" KLH floor speakers with mids and tweeters, and 2 KLH bookshelf speakers. I cant count how many times I have clipped the hell out of this receiver and sent it into protect mode when I was little, lol click And my ssd is D1.

^ I agree Yes the battery will go inside of your truck.

135 would do you good but 200 is even better. He means extra batteries, to help keep the juice flowing to the amps. And don't waste the money on a capacitor. Whats your budget for subs?

This is our silky terrier, when we bought him his name was Elvis. But I later started calling him Bentley, he was traumatized as a puppy so he is very skittish around new people.

Noob question. Here are some pics so I can better explain it. Alright, my factory speakers have a triangular type mount as you can see in the first picture. My aftermarket 4's have 4 mount spots and they don't come close to the factory mount spot as you can see in the last picture. Can I just make my own screw holes in the metal? In the last picture that's my crappy kenwood in the mount spot, you can't see it in the pic but there is actually a small gap. Like if the hole was any bigger the 4" would just fall right through the hole. I'm wondering what is the best way to get a 6 1/2" in the door, grinding the hole out? I put my 6 1/2" kenwood in and the only thing in the way is the basket, so I would have to grind out about a inch on each side. Now onto the noob question, the wiring harness. Can I just crimp the connections instead of buying a wiring harness?

I meant cm^2, like on Fi specs. The 18" has 1210cm^2 The 15" has 810cm^2 I'm guessing the 21" has like 1600cm^2 or so.
