hahaha, Jack went to the same school as I did until he left after 8th grade (he's a year older than I) and yes, he is a nut case

S2000 ring a bell? Maybe it's just me, but I hated the feel of the S2000...maybe I'm just not that used to six speeds, I don't know. Jim, you don't seem like the type that wants to rev to 7000rpm to make any amount of torque

I feel ya man. Seems like its always something. I do not have the easy to access hole in the firewall like M5 does and I own the same year truck both EC and both z71. I don't even have a drill bit big enough for the 1/0 so I'm going to have to get a unibit, and I am considering running the Power wire under the truck because its damn dear impossible to get a drill bit in a descent spot on the firewall. On a good note though, box is on the way and seat lift is on the way! Still need an Icon... Sean, is your truck LT? I would go under the truck.... I'm almost thinking about it and I CAN go through the firewall. I think the 1/0 will look sloppy under the carpet. There is a channel on the GM crap that is made for 1/0. There is not a single lump anywhere in the carpeting from it. sounds like you're happy with something GM did....

Nifty, it looks good how you blended them into the defroster vent

If the volvo is that spl car you've been working on, then ok. If not, that's not so safe dude...

Not sure I agree. Obviously don't over-fuse the wire, but other than that the smaller the fuse the easier it will be to blow which of course is the purpose of having one in the first place. With idiots of course it might be safer to say fuse the wire, but really the magic spot is somewhere in the middle. Although it probably doesn't make any difference in a daily system, a smaller fuse will have higher resistance and therefore less voltage to the amp. I don't put my fuses right at the edge of the wire's current capacity, but like the next step smaller.

fuse to the wire, not the amp
