They didn't have PCB's in the '30s, so you don't need them today for that Makes replacing components a hell of a lot easier when you don't have to worry about substrate traces or surface-mount components or chit like that Just solder and go... The benefits still outweigh the inconviences im doing a weird mix of PCB and P2P for my x-overs, just need somewhere to freakin solder perhaps, we'll see in a year though
