You wanna have a good time when you go get plugs?? When they tell you your car requires platinum plugs, ask them why they make copper plugs for them then? Then proceed to tell them that platinum plugs offer zero advantage unless you plan on not changing your plugs every year. They'll have a fit. i already knew the part number of what i needed so it was really no hassle at all with non-platinum plugs, it's really recomended to change them once a year? Yes. Platinum is acutally a very poor conductor and there are far better performance characteristics from a standard copper plug. The ONLY advantage to platinum is durability. It allows for a much longer lifespan due to better corrosion resistance and better durability with long term heat. Actually, this is not commonly known, but you should really replace your plug wires everytime you change plugs. Plug wires will start to deteriorate around 10,000 miles or less. good info Ryan, thanks so you recomend plugs and wires every year?
