The company that builds full-perimeter frames for 64-72 Chevelles (I assume they could be made to work with the other A's) and 67-69 Camaros is Schwartz Extreme Performance, http://schwartzperformance.com/ The article about them can be found in the November 2006 issue of Chevy High Performance.

Did they do any testing in the article? Nope. PM me your address. I'm putting together a little care package.

Dont get a belkin pre-N thats for sure. The linksys I had didnt slow down the connection at all. But if you were downloading a lot it had to be reset often. I mean the wireless side. If using the wired side and downloading, it was fine. But when I downloaded a lot from the wirelss laptop the router would have to be reset. the wireless connection would go down. Figgadeal me? I was looking at this: http://shop1.outpost.com/%7Bhv1UdfUwcQi2Ub...CH:MAIN_RSLT_PG unless anyone has any better suggestions

I need suggestions for a wireless router. Nothing special, just one that won't break in a week, and will be fast enough. Anyone?

If you haven't blown the fuse, it is acceptable. To get rid of every last bit of parasitic loss, then upgrade to a larger fuse that is matched to the 4ga. The 50% efficiency is in reference to the amplifier's power output versus it's power input. Hypothetically, an amp is drawing in 1000 watts of power, but is only putting out 500 watts of power. That amp is only 50% efficient. The larger wires will improve the efficiency of the entire system.

used to use Elmer's Woodglue, switched over to Titebond II recently difference? *shrugs**

I'm not exactly sure where you're getting this from, I'm not trying to compare the BTL to the XXX at all...just saying they aren't going to be the end all for every installation What're you talking about Jim? Fi is the end-all, be-all for every situation evarr. World Hunger? a BTL will take care of that Problems with the social security system? SSD's have it covered Question on your math homework that's a stumper? a Q will definitely help

I did forget to state what I thought everyone would assume. It has to handle better and be faster than the M when I am done. I won't take a step back. a little cliche but a 69 Camaro the truck-arm rear suspension will set it apart some, and is supposed to handle quite well, you could also go the IRS route (atleast a couple kits made for this) I don't like the squared off wheel wells. 67-68 would be okay but they almost have an Eleanor like problem in that every arseho has built one. IRS is a definite possibility, but if not at least a watts in the rear and sla conversion in the front. Options: 65-69 Mustang -- ruined by Eleanor, but still not completely out of the question 67-68 Cougar -- perhaps the current front runner only I still can't quite get over the nose 70-72 Barracuda -- I am worried about getting one to handle 70-71 Challenger -- although even a junked one is absurdly expensive and the suspension kits are pretty lame for Mopars Firebird -- out considering my buddy is building one 67-68 Camaro -- too many of these have been built Falcon & Maverick -- I just can't go that far 63-64, 66 Fairlane/Cyclone -- I go back and forth on these, but part of me really likes the option Ranchero -- while I like them, I want a backseat Torino is too close to the Galaxy and another Galaxy is out of the question as well As you can tell I have a bit of an oval preference, but am not only looking at them. I am sure there are other options and an open for suggestions, please! Now, I need to shop for driveline stuff. At the moment the only part there I really have picked out is a T56 of some variety. there is actually a company out of Las Vegas that makes uber nice suspensions for mopar E's IIRC, like they use OE quality technology to completely remake the suspensions, i can find the magazine article if you like and i agree with you that first-gen Camaros are belly-button cars, but there is a reason why you could always look into GM A-bodies, there is a company that makes entirely new frames/suspensions for them that uses race-level technology, and some of the BOP A-bodies are pretty rare as you can probably tell, i'd prefer to steer clear of the blue oval

you do want your ground wire as short as practical however, any added resistance in that wire will cause a voltage drop which means less voltage to the amplifier which means less power

what're you thinkin of? Something old you've gotta give me more details than that Okay, most likely something from 1965 - 1969. Thinking about something that I can customize a bit more than a Pantera. I really want one, but don't think I will have 80g's laying around to do what I need to anytime soon. Less of a sacrifice to do something more common. As for the details I am really not sure what I want yet. It depends on the availability of good SLA suspension parts Bang for the buck engine and transmission Looks & i prefer a bit of originality and something that I can add my own flair to I'd prefer dual 18's IB as well with a three way front stage Drivetrain and suspension will probably make the pick for me. Might I add, American built! sounds like a good plan can't wait to see what you do
