I used to have a 68 Imp 2drht you did? when? surprised you'd own a GM It was the car that made me swear off GM stuff. Now the truck is, every 15 years I make the same mistake I guess. What was wrong with it? Generally, GMs from that era are the ones I'd trust the most. Everything that could possibly break, broke. Rear end, trans, defroster, power steering, alternator, starter, wheel bearings, .... I only drove the damn thing for 10k miles as well and it was my grandfathers who worked for a car dealer and maintained everything really well. Generally it was the biggest POS I have ever owned, I replaced it with the Galaxy which never gave me any trauma at all in comparison. It was also probably 10dB's quieter on the road. The Imp was a loud pig. damn Stupid truck did it again today. Now at highway speeds I have a positive flux of cold air coming in on the passenger side and when I push the inside air recirculator button it flashes and reverts to fresh air in. Pretty sweet when it is 10 deg outside to have "fresh" air coming in. I had other problems with that damn Impala as well. I will say that we had fun destroying it instead of selling it though. The trans was the final straw. Crazy electrical shit. Less computers the better.

how do you post a review on there anyway?

**raises hand** love both of mine

Maybe I need to compare them side by side, but the only real differences I see is that the roof line looks more squared and they cut a bunch off the ass end note, these changes do make the rear half of the car look retarded.

where at? mine is starting to pool a bit in the garage. I am just gonna sell the piece of chit. dunno about the new Silverados but the 88-98 trucks have a radiator with two little plastic end tanks on either side. They seem to leak at the metal/plastic joint rather easily... That's what just went on my Impala a couple weeks ago, 134k miles
