I've got a present for Matt

You would wire the 2 crossover networks together in parallel, but the amp will only ever see an 8 ohm load because the frequency range is split between the drivers.

ser/per vs par/ser
Acidburn replied to jack's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
I believe most companies measure the TS parameters with the coils in series, so there may be more validity in going series/parallel but I seriously doubt there's any audible difference -
amp inputs would show you exactly how much voltage the amps are seeing so you would run yours stright to the amp power inputs? yes

so I had a bit of a crisis this afternoon... When I get home in the Camaro, I see that the gas line next to the carb is leaking a bit so I tighten it up. Well that just twists the line and causes it to open up the leak more so now gas pours out of it. So that car's out of the equation. I quickly throw the driver's seat and seatbelt in the Impala and get that ready to go. And I go to start it and.... nothing. Thank god it's only a dead battery. So I get a ride to Checker and back, get the new battery in, and that does the trick. I have a working car once again.
