Hmm, think I could tow a 4000lb boat with that? I know they would in Europe. If it were a diesel.... maybe A big v8 should be more than fine no? Probably, but I don't think BMW ever put one in one of those But, there are LT1 wagons. And plenty of old Nova, Chevelle, and Impala wagons that can carry a big block. They imported 540 wagons, and obviously sold M wagons in Europe. I almost bought a grey market touring when I bought my M. Would a BMW V8 have enough low end to tow? Seems like most of their stuff is all top end.

Oh, and I know a stock LT1 Impala can tow about 2000 lbs at 75 mph without problem. Got about 10 mpg too.

You need better stores, what exactly do you need? Did you see that pic and specs I posted? It "looks" the same as the ones for the back seat of the e/c trucks. Obviously not sure, but GM is stupid enough to use multiple different ones. I'll have to remember that. About the GM thing... I had my friend order one, took 2 weeks to get it, and then it was a totally different bolt

1 3/8" shoulder length 3/4" of threads shoulder is 9/16" in diameter
-
Maybe, I guess I just need to go find a junkyard and start looking

and those welds... yikes
-
I have the original, it's just on the verge of stripping I don't know if I could get it out again
-
not exactly, it's some proprietary bullshit GM came up with but if you don't have the exact bit for them, a T47 works well
-
It's the bolt that holds the seatbelt to the top of the B-pillar
-
I don't think the thread pitch is anything special. It just has a really long shoulder.
-
It's really annoying when you need a bolt and GM doesn't make it anymore and it's so odd that no one else does either

I hit teh NOS when I was at like 100 and my speedo bent around like 3 times, I guess I was going like 300 mph. It felt like I was sitting still, I ran out of road but luckily I was going so fast that I hit a bump and took off. I guess the Supra wing really helped out, luckily I landed in a lake and my wheels were spinning so fastz that I scrambled across it like those crazy scandanavians with their 4x4s that walk on wata. I go off of the lake just in time to hit a dirt field right before my flux capacitor quite. Good thing you didn't blow the welds on the intake manifold.

Saw these pics on Lateral-G, 2007 Duramax and Allison 6 speed auto I think this is the PMR car, but I'm not sure. Either way, cool to see, and gives me ideas
