I wasn't using the best either. 1998 Camaro SS: 320 hp http://www.conceptcarz.com/vehicle/z172/Ch..._Camaro_SS.aspx

I don't think it's all that likely either.

The only copy-cat feature I've heard of is the front-mount distributor, which is just common sense for a NASCAR car.

1998, first year for the LS1: http://mustangforums.com/timeline/1998-ford-mustang/ http://www.conceptcarz.com/vehicle/z8063/C...Camaro_Z28.aspx Last time I checked, 285 is more than 225

And this right here is why everyone makes fun of you.

The only reasons I can think of for Ford to do this would be reduced production costs and less weight. A Ford 5.0 is going to be really hard pressed to match a LS2 or LS3 for output though. With equal displacement why do you think the general can extract more power than Ford?? That seems absurd, in particular since the Ford design will be all new and the LS is now nearly 10 years old. Ford302Dipshit was talking about a new 5.0, which is a liter smaller than a LS2 and 1.2 liters smaller than a LS3. If Ford made them of comparable displacement, then yes, it probably would be a close match. Also, a LS3/LS7's head design is somewhat different than an old LS1. GM definitely hasn't been sitting on their thumbs since '97 when it comes to horsepower.

Yep, you'll never be anything but

For the corners of the internal air space Putting the 45* corners in the corners of the internal air space will have the same effect with a PVC port as with a slot port

Of course, they're probably not stating the obvious unspoken thing and encouraging people to have backup power, become more self-sufficient, etc... Obvious unspoken thing being the substation that caused the reactor to go offline <--- Father's an NRC Licensed Operator Fun times in Floriduh Nuclear power is so purdy... yummy

Said they're only considering it now. Only time will tell.

wtf would they use them for? Rumor has it, Ford is going back to the pushrod motor in the new stang. I'm going to remain extremely skeptical until I hear from someone who actually knows what they're talking about.

LOL that's ridiculous

I haven't heard any confirmed yet. But the LS2 or LS3 will probably be the base V8 with LS7 and LS9 possibilities.
