Looking forward to seeing pics of this. Probably be at least a month. Have to strip the subframe, paint it, reassemble it, pull the motor apart and check all the bearing tolerances (supposedly it was just rebuilt, but since it is out I wanna see the inside and check it all out), fit a new tranny (TKO), install the pedals, deaden the interior, undercoat the bottom, fit the rims and measure for tires, put in the new rear end (after having it made), fit a new steering box, .... The list goes on, better make that two months. We should be driving it to the power tour though he's going with a TKO 500 or 600? Awesome. That's what I want in the Camaro.

Um, why no vacuum booster? Just too big of a cam? Budget, plus there seems to be a theory with the Wilwoods that it won't be necessary. My thighs will let you know in about three months. My guess is sometime next winter we will be adding a booster Your guess doesn't sound real far fetched to me... I drove the Galaxie with the ole Kelsey Hayes 4 piston front 2 rear without a booster for a while (well actually no vacuum) and it was a beyotch to stop, a real beyotch. Frank seems to think differently and Josh is far from a wuss, but we shall see. Before I did the Camaro, stopping that was scary, but I think that had more to do with the 4 wheel drums than the lack of booster

only you Jim...

Some nice parts there Make sure you put that front sway bar in before the lower A arms. Ha, good point. Hotchkiss bar again IIRC. You know I ain't the F body guy? (It is an F body isn't it?) Yep, Camaros and Firebirds/TAs are F-bodies. If you forget to get that sway bar in first, it'll require a BFH to get it past the arm and it'll scratch the piss out of everything. I am bringing over my 10 lb'er to help get shit off, but I surely don't want to use it to put things back together. Good luck taking things apart. There were a couple bolts on mine were as stubborn as an anti-evolution supporter.

I think I spent his money. The brakes, the tires, the rims, all what I pushed for from day one. Classic & loud, but not over the top. It will be way more fun to pull fresh new stainless lines than to reuse the stock crap, I am glad it is ALL getting replaced. Next winter I am going to build him a custom dash and at that point I don't think there will be a bolt/screw left in the car that we haven't tweaked! If you haven't already ordered the SS brake lines, I've had good results with the Right Stuff Detailing stuff. Thanks, they were part of a complete kit of brakes from Frank @ Prodigy. Actually Josh is getting the second set of 6 pistons to go with the 12" rotors, a Wilwood special for Frank. The first set are the ones pictured above Fancy.
