Unfortunately, there's been a large set back. There were just too many fitment problems with the Edelbrock adapter plates and headers. Demanding a refund from them so I can go a different route.

Sean is correct, from a '05 GTO

Some people would stick SBC's in anything.... what's wrong with that?

^^ the truth, i rarely try to bring up audio locally, cuz all they know is main stream crap It has nothing to do with knowing such and such brand or even understanding advanced concepts. It's the general mentality I've found amongst most car audio people. They all seem to be stuck in some overly-aggressive, compensating, quasi-high school mentality.

I am continually reminded that the majority of people involved with car audio are the stupidest pieces of shit you'll ever meet

Summer nats next week in MN. Josh's car has a reserved spot. Supposedly the paint is "done" If I go there will be pics. I have been avoiding seeing cars I want lately as I can't afford the time to do what I need Otherwise last week I may have gone and seen (and probably bought) this: http://www.pim.net/TinMan.html mmm, Pantera

According to RockAuto, 3.0L and 3.8L fans have different part numbers thanks for the help

I can check at my old man's place this weekend. Does it have to be the Taurus fan? IIRC, the 3.0 and 3.8 used the same fan and shroud. I thtink the Contour used the samer setup, albeit with dual fans. Either way, I'll see what they have and let you know. The shroud for the Taurus fits a first gen radiator quite well and I'd prefer the single fan set up. From what I've read, the 3.8L fan assembly is best, it has high/low speeds. But if you're sure the 3.0L is the same as the 3.8L, then that would work too.
-
Ryan1, do you have any hookups on Taurus fan assemblies? Specifically the late 80's - '95 Tauruses with the 3.8L

Most likely. Still swollen, probably didn't help that I worked on the car all day again. When I got home this evening, the pressure was so bad that I did pop it. Right under the nail and on the side. Wasn't as climatic as I was hoping lol. Shit needs to heal faster.
