You have to market yourself and prove to the company that their investment in you is worth while. For example, for the 2009 dB drag season, my goal is to make it to world finals. I will have my car at every major event within a 300 mile radius of where I live including multiple 3x events. I should be able to make it on dBtv at carlisle, and I'm trying to get this all done and bring my ss1-2 build down to SBN next season. Once you have your foot in the door at one company, it gets easier.
