Hubble Power Systems? yeah lol, you've heard of them? No shit?! They make a ton of electrical stuff. I use Hubbell shit every day. cool, seem like good products/service? GREAT products! Very well engineered and built. Can't say much for service as we get everything through a distributor, so. . . I use their light sensors exclusively in all my stores. All my switches and recepts get replaced with Hubbell if needed. I literally have used thousands of their products since high school. that's really good to hear

ya, no kidding, I think if this happens, I'd just live in Columbia and commute the 20 miles I just can't see you living in a small Missouri town Tom... Living in Columbia would be quite a bit more exciting, halfway between K.C. and St. Louis too. Columbia would probably be culture shock enough, Centralia would be twilight-zone-esque

that's where their distribution center is located I believe

rocked my interview today, they want me to come to SC next week downsides: they don't sell very exciting products and I'd have to spend 6 months in Centralia, MO, population 3770

know if they're looking for any entry level positions? All the time Texas Instruments too Especially if you're an engineer; practically every company from every field are looking for engineers down here in Texas That's beacause if you aren't from Texas you don't want to live there as much as I don't want to live in TX, I'd probably make an exception for LM or GD They both have locations in Minneapolis as well ...know anyone I can email? I did like MN when I was there, but I think the winters might kill me I don't actually work with either, but could dig around for names. I will add emailing is NOT an effective way of presenting yourself. Phone, phone, phone...if you can't do face to face. kind of hard to send a resume over the phone, but if it leads to asking for a resume, that works too

Good Luck! Thanks I needed it, Tom asks the tuff questions. I do what I can

<-- has never applied for a job I haven't gotten. Which is exactly why I should go apply for something new, only to shoot the moon. Someone encourage me. Double dog dare you. Find one for me to apply to General Dynamics, Dell and Lockheed are looking for senior positions to fill down here in TX know if they're looking for any entry level positions? 2nd one from the front, driver's side Thanks, figured they counted differently than what I was used to. Time to pull the plug. all SBCs are odd numbers on the drivers side, even on the passengers, counting from the front if it hasn't been done, plugs/wires would probably be a good idea Hasn't been done, but being for sale it might just get one plug. Could be a mucky injector I suppose, haven't bothered to look or worry about it as it is pretty intermiddent. Hmm, mucky injector = time for an italian tune-up ? Italian tune up? Isn't that a rebuild? It's not a rebuild : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Italian_tuneup heh, had not heard that term before

I do dealings with those people occasionally. They are getting masters in engineering. my classes are filled with them

Yeah there are a bunch with nitrous and all these upgrades to get it to 800hp. I don't really want that. Just something basic, with perhaps a few basic upgrades to get it to 400hp or so. It wouldn't take that much to get that little car moving. Though I'd need to sit in one to see if I would fit comfortably. Having been around a few in the past, I would suggest aiming for a totally stock one. Just too many with people pushing them really hard. Unless you find a tweaked one and find a stock motor somewhere, but that is a slim chance. Actually too many idiots who think they know what they are doing modify something without understanding what the hell they are doing. yep, seen some really hacked up old cars
