So I got my alternator rebuilt and back in... BUT now its charging at 16 volts when its cold and my amps shut off when it hits 16.1 So that's one more problem I have to fix now...in 5 days.. I'm about ready to rip everything out...it's just pissing me off now.

So my alternator is getting rebuilt and built up some more. I've just been bracing the box and making trim panels...pics tomorrow morning.

Its not finished yet, but here is how she sits.

Got all my belts replaced. No more slipping or squeal...but my alternator started smoking. =[
-
Car won't be out on stateline tonight....got to finish replacing the belts before It will run, and charge properly at 14 volts. I broke an internal brace so I don't really want the car out to much till I get it all finished.

No...I ran my leads before I mounted the alarm...I know its really messy still..but I have more cables to run for the rest of the car...

Once I get my belts replaced and the engine tuned up I have no problem driving there for a comp...I have a lot of people that would come with me also. Including my team mate.

Got everything worked out...amps strapped at a 2 ohm load synced them up perfectly. NOW all the belts need to be replaced on the car which will be tomorrow when I get out of the dentist and get to the shop. Power steering belt is cracked and loose as hell, and the AC belt we just cut off completely. lol.

Ok so everything is in... I got the box done, subs wired up and started testing. When syncing the amps with the single jumper RCA I have phase issues..one hits out while one hits in.. BUT, when running a while RCA from the output on one amp to the other and matching everything as close as possible it hits perfectly...and is loud as fudge...lol. sooooo idk whats wrong...maybe I don't have something set right on the bridge mode or something....I guess I'll figure it out tomorrow.

Couple of pics from the install portion of the afternoon... One Question...Notice how I have my power wire ran for the amps...they have dual 4 gauge inputs. The owner of the shop I work at told me to run one line to the fuse holder and then two lines out to the amp...which is what I did. But do I need to use ALL 4 gauge on that, or run 0/1 from the battery to fuse holder and then 4 gauge from fuse holder to amp? Pics.

Ya the alarm is messy right now...its just wired in and working. Still need to mount the shock sensor, valet switch, and LED light. Once thats done the wires will be taped and hidden behind the kick panel along with the unit. I'll get some pics of her when I get some more done...the alternator is pulled right now to re-wire my big three so it isn't running...and being halfway pulled under my car port its been getting bird chit all on the front, so pics after I wash her.
