i've been pondering getting rid of my rl-p's in a search for something louder. i need some suggestions on what to do. i was either thinking 2 different 15's or a single 18. i've got ~1500 watts @ 1 ohm. what would you suggest?

i don't know if its been asked...but what is the weight on those bad boys? -
maybe your right...i don't know. the first half says to vipers... but the second half "suggests" only 1 amp..... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Im sorry yes...... they are Dual 2 Which is why im asking. Since theres no way to power both with 1....... effiecently i was thinking about just getting another viper....... would 1200 to each be to mcuh...... sealed? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> how big sealed? around 2 ft per? that'd be pretty nice...if you don't go crazy w/ it

how big would the smallest horn be for a 12-15? and would a small horn be better than a decent size ported? -

ya.. i seen. i like to post the same q on a couple diff forums, cause every forum has favorite way to do stuff, so i get a couple diff choice, or ways to do the same thing, if you will. i asked another q on ca.com, but..... i wanna try the rear loaded horns. i've been reading all about them and its about time i try something...what would you suggest for a decent, cheap setup?

ESD Strap. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> n/m then -
they used to...but wasn't he asking about an amp for each??? which would only be dual 1's...
-
it says you put all the layers on at one time... i always thought it was best to let the layers dry , before adding the next layer. i suppose both ways would yield the same results?????
-
what program(i guess it'd be called) w/ excel do you guys use? maybe it'd be a spreadsheet. anyway, were can i get it?

you've never seen it before? there is a couple diff ones. maybe ebay? by the way...you should never hold ANYTHING by the circuit board. the static electricity in you body could fry componants on the board.. -
what size box are you gonna go w/? 2ft per?
-
there is NOWAY you got dual 1's
-
thats good and all, but i'd still be curious as to what was wrong...subs and amps don't just fix themselfs.....
-
well he only has one sub, and having the phase 180 out on the whole sub wouldn't exactly sound that horrid, or have way less output...its the same signal, depending on vehicle, and such 180 out might sound better, but that a whole nother ball game. but having the coils out would sound like @ss and have way less output. put the SX back in...if its fixed it has nothing to do w/ the amp if its not fixed its the amp...
-
really nice
-
are you talking about the WHOLE sub out of phase...or the vc's out of phase from each other???
-
if your gonna be running 1200w to it just run it sealed.
