Tom, your LOTR sig pic is hilarious.

yep, but its worth trying what he has suggested. true that no two vehicles are going to have same voltage levels as another. too many conditions to factor in, which is why I refrain from giving electrical system advice. plus, its not really my forte anyway. thanks for the trivia Acidburn.

I did state "around" in my post <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I was referring to "HIM" not you

Crossfire amps for SQ?
EFFENDI replied to dezyrme's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
You might want to look at Diamond Audio or Arc Audio's stuff, they are more SQ focused and make excellent high end gear. -
Souns legitimate to me. But you have to realize that generalizing by giving specifica voltages is not accurate advice.

It can be the innofficial slogan. But IF Mike does decide to use it I want royalties!!! I still think "nutshaker" is a little odd when you are trying to explain to your Mom/GF why you spent $4K on a system.

wow, all that spam made me dizzy.

No offense taken, I appreciate that someone else is willing to share their point of view. I completely understood the "verbal jousting" was in fun. I am pretty sure I acknowledged the fact. But regardless, I frankly didnt like the nicknames. In my defense, I did say I didn't want a nickname . I really didnt take much offense to it, but I was just trying to illustrate a concerned point of view in my previous post. As far as your comment on maturity, I think we all know that there is a defnite lack of it here in the IHoP, and thats what it is all about, regardless, I still think its important to keep in mind that words speak louder than actions here. Now, considering that the majiroty of everyone's posts are here in this thread, I dont think its unreasonable to say that if a point is to be made, it will get across to everyone else better here than in any other place on ths forum. THAT is why I wanted to kill this sprout before it became a weed. So why make a big deal out of this?? Simply because I have seen it destroy a lot of other forums, and it really does hurt people. I have seen plenty of newbs come and go because of it. I was simply doing what I felt necessary to preserve the positive atmosphere here, and to eliminate a possible problem before it developed into anything else. Thanks mrry, I hope that we can just move on, but certainly not without keeping in mind that we can all have fun and be responsible and respectful at the same time.

I feel the same way. The product practically sells itself. But Mike's dedication, "realness" ie. (accessibility, honesty) really just makes it that much more exciting to be "IN". I can see only good things coming for SoundSplinter.

All the way over in BC ... West Kootenay region. I am impressed that you came out of Surrey alive. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Supa and I used to live in Surrey. Newton district. The ghetto. We are alive and well, but have plenty of stories. You truly can't appreciate the ghetto though unless you have experienced South Central Los Angeles (where I have been numerous times), and the Antelope Valley (where I have lived) in California. It makes Surrey look like an affluent neighborhood.

now on with the postwh0ring!

Im all for fun and occasional foolishness, but certain jokes CAN be taken too far. People's feelings are hurt for different reasons. I'm not going to get into details here, I just want everyone to drop the "emo" nicknames.. I think they are irrelevant and insulting. What makes a good nickname in my opinion is one that is flattering and good-natured, not necessarily insulting, and more or less representative of that person's characteristics, swagger, personality, appearance etc. Dennis is called "Pennis" because ..... (I honestly dont know why). I suppose he is called "Radio" with his "I don't get it" sometimes slow-witted responses. I'm positive that Dennis is an intelligent person, and the "Radio" nickname in my view is no more than an (among friends) "you're an idiot". Tom is called "Yeti" because his physical appearance resembles that of the Himalayan mythological figure. I dont think its insulting, and besides, he knows that he needs a shave Howevere, eDmo/eFmo bear no resemblance to either mine or my brothers personality, or characteristics. Neither of us are involved in the "emo" subculture, and frankly I didnt even realize that "emo" had a definition. I honestly dont like when people are defined by their style/appearance/mannerisms. Bottom line here is that everyone is unique, and noone should be crtiticized for being "different". Tom, if you take offense to "Yeti", just say the word and I wont mention it again. Likewise for anyone else. I dont want to be stomping on egos here. I realize that most of you probably think that its somewhat over-sensitive to even so much as address this, but I dont think name-calling is mature, and its not bringing anything positive to our little community. Of course, this specific thread is an off-topic one and crazy things are bound to occur. What I'm simply trying to illustrate here is something to keep in the back of your mind. I am not condemning anyone here, nor am I saying I myself am innocent of showing a lack of respect. Information interchange can occur through many different mediums. The intersting thing here is, is that our traditional methods of communication are rapidly changing. Words speak louder than actions in our case, and choosing our words more carefully is something I think we should all do. "Real-life" IS the internet for some people, and there is no reason why you should carry yourself differently online than you do in your physical interactions with people. If I have ever offended anyone here, please accept my apologies. I would like to try and keep as positive a relationship with everyone here as is possible. I thnk we all have a lot to share with and teach eachother...and I dont want to miss out on any of it.

i've always liked jamba juice, i prefer a fruit smoothie to a fattening ice cream beverage.

it does come with those white ones, but if u compare those with say $20 aftermarket ones, u'd see those are the worse headphones on earth. people with ipods dont realize that though, cuz most of em arent audiophiles. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> x2 - they're horrible. My order hasn't shipped yet, so I'll have to try and get some included. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The Etymotic ER-6i is supposed to be a fine set of noise-isolating earbuds. Head-Fi is my next project after I'm done with the Regal.

I kinda wish you would explain, because I'm intersted in getting yout point of view. I'd like to know exactly what your goals are, because frankly, they seem reasonable, but challenging. Ikesound is the cheapest that I have seen online as well. Well, good luck to you sir. -
I may be able to do it for you....the photoshop work that is. MY ma said she has some dental work to pay for before she gets a new comp, so dont hold your breath. eFmo = no no
