Can't explain why it can do what it says. I'm not a tech by any means but I have seen results from real world testing and can verify that it indeed does make what it claims. With box rise to 2ohm 10k+. As far as a volt drop....Show me a high powered amp that doesn't have that big a drop or more. I don't know about you but my batts read 14.8 average while cars running. So a volt drop still keeps me waaay above the danger zone.

I will soon let ya know how the 14k2d is for music soon! I know and realize the logisitics with wire and amps etc.. I would just like to point out that at one time computers took up whole buildings, then rooms, then desktops, then palm pilots etc... Technology is always changing and pushing the envelope. Stetsom is not the only company out there with one terminal making crazy power.

Power handling so far in an over size box 3500 rms with Max excursion close to 3in one direction. As far as burp I'm fixing to hook up a Stetsom 14k2d. Will get back to ya. These are surprisingly musical. As far as mounting issues either inverted or split baffle. With the help of some friends Rusty is working on a cool add on to eliminate the mounting issues. Zack very well put! I've done similar tests and always saw a gain once resin was applied. In my most recent box without the resin it breathed like no tomorrow, Hideous sounding. Once I glassed the box it eliminated that breathing and solidified the sound. Guess this one just boils down to either you've tested this for yourself or your just talking theoretically. I will always glass my boxes.
