Stupid since 12ga will do. Twist caps are for solid core wire. True.... but at times we do things that work good and are reliable in our builds, even though they weren't intended by the manufacturer to do so.. that said i use the twist caps they come in handy and are easier to use especially if u have dd subs. You never, EVER use twist caps for stranded wire. They will come off and take half the wire with them with the smallest amount of pressure. I have cleaned up so many installs where dumb rednecks used twist caps for their head unit and wonder why it doesn't work! I Take Offense To That, Not Because I Pulled Such A Dumbass Stunt Which Should Never Be Done, But Because I Am A Redneck. It's Okay Though, You Sumbitch.
