    New Zed 4x100 Amp

Those ESX amps are really hard to come by.

    New Zed 4x100 Amp

I am impressed with both of my ZED Lanzar amps. They are built better like tanks.

    New Zed 4x100 Amp

People who care about quality will pay the price for ZED amps. His amps even the old ones are still circulated on EBAY and stand the test of time. For a serious person who knows quality, they will not mind spending the extra money for a ZED amp. BTW the prices of his amps are in the mid range which to me is very reasonable.

    us acoustics usx 1000f

Good find. I didn't see that one listed on EBAY.

    Draconia

I got a hold of a never used Draconia. It has the black case. Will it sound any different than my ESX?
  6. Does anyone have a Lanzar Optidrive 100.4 amplifier that they would like to sell? I am interested. My email is [email protected].

    Pristine condition

The ESX Q 604 was in pristine condition inside and out to say the least. There were no marks on the fins. It was never worked on or repaired based on my assessment of the circuit board and interiors. The screws weren't stripped. I would compare the condition of the amp to a car that was traded in with 5000 miles on it. The amp literally seems to be barely used if at all. I would give it a 9/10 easily. Thank you, I look forward to enjoying the amp for years to come. I am even more impressed with my Optidrive 1000.1D. For a amp rated at 1000 watts it outperformed every bass amp that I had which includes an Atomic AT 1600.1D, Sundown SAZ 1500D, RF T1500-1D, MTX TA 7801D, Exonic EXA 3000DX, Crossfire VR 1000D and Crossfire XP 1400D. The only amp that it rivaled was the RF T10001BD. The Optidrive 1000.1D is an aboslutely incredible amp. I got the other one from the same buyer for only $200 and it came with the box, instructions, original packaging, warranty instructions, etc. At this point from here on in I am sticking with ZED audio. ZED is the only link with old school American made amplifiers. He over designs his amps and they all have a very distinctive sound to them.

Just got an ESX Q 60.4

The ESX sounds absolutely awesome. Coupled with my Lanzar Opti 1000.1D an excellent selection. I couldn't be happier.

Went shopping @ Zed Audio Yesterday.....

ZED audio is really the only link between amps of the 2000's and amps in the 80's and 90's. He keeps up with technology and doesn't compromise on craftmanship and sound.

    sundown 3000d vs Atomic 3000d

Atomic makes very good amps and they use the best parts. It comparison with Sundown though the difference will be in the customer service, accessbility to Jacob from Sundown and the fact that Sundown is a young and hungry company making a name for themselves. With that being said Sundown is at the top of their game. I swapped out all of my Atomic amplifiers for an ESX G 604 and Sundown SAZ 1500D because I like Jacob and when you hold that Sundown 1500 watt amp and feel how solid and heavy the amp is you know you have one helluva product. The Atomic amps will do their rated power and are well built and use quality parts but Sundown has that "it" factor. Truth be told though my SAZ 1500D is so much stronger than the Atomic AT 1600.1D that I had. I wouldn't be surprised if the Sundown SAZ 3000D is stronger than the Atomic AT 3000.1D. Plus Sundown gives a great 2 year warranty on their products.

Just got an ESX Q 60.4

I am very excited to have purchased a mint condition ESX Q 60.4 off of EBAY from Audio Clinic. The amp is in mint condition and is a classic and will be replacing my Atomic Trinity. How good is this amp? When was it built? Damn I am so happy to finally have a ZED amp.
  12. I own an Atomic AT 1600.1D and recently purchased a Sundown SAZ 1500D because I am converting once the Sundown 50.4 comes out. I tested it out today in my truck and here's my opinion. Both amps are very very well built. There was noo difference in bass and performance. Both amps never get hot. They both performed surperbly on my 3 10's. The major difference and Chris from DB R told me this was the heatsink design. The Sundown was much heavier. The Sundown is built like a tank I mean that "mother" is one solid amp. The external appearance for both looks about the same the Sundown in my opinon looks a little better. I think the major difference though will be in customer service, warranty and reputation. They obviously both use the best parts. It's just a matter of choice when it comes down to it. I like that Jacob has answered many of my questions, very knowledgable and seems to be a cool dude. The SAZ 1500D just seems to me to be a little bit better built. When you hold both amps in your hand you can tell the difference. The Sundown is built like an old style amplifier

    Sundown SAZ 1500D @ 1.34 ohms

I also have 3 10 Crossfire BMF (new) sitting in the garage that I can use as well where I can switch impedance plugs on them wire them up to an 0.67 ohm load bridged. Since we are accounting for the impedance rise, from 0.67 what could it rise to in the same box?
