i have a 2x4 in the middle for bracing. 3/4 MDF is right. The subs want 1 cube a piece. so are you saying i only need 6 inches of port area? my buddy made one that looks way to small 7 LONG 1 HIGH 3 DEEP so 7x1x3 is that right looks tiny.
-
ok. but how do i know how much the subs need for port area? can somebidy help me find it?

after my whole system was stolen I'm completely re building (see sig.) So far i have 2 infinity 7521a amps, pioneer DEH 6800 MP deck, 4 RE SR 10's. A buddy of mine at a local shop might hook me up with 2 Rockford 500.1's around 700 RMS each. He's also building me my custom ported box and a flush mount amp rack... I've never had 10's before, what do you guys think?

4 pioneer 12's tsw306dvc. they broke out my window cut my alarm and took it i guess...

and as far as the port in my sig goes, thats what the subs want? small but worked. i miss my old subs

How are the RE SR's? i have 4 that i want to put in my 97 S-10 Blazer. My whole system was just stolen. i bought 4 because that's all they had. i intend to do 8 all together. Ported to 35Hz as they suggest. I had 4 Pioneer ts-w306 DVC's and that was LOUD. I want to be louder than that. I went with 10's because the sound cleaner and i can do more of them so the "show" factor will be a little better. And EVERYONE in Lansing Has "4 12's" and i wanted to be different and do 8 10's So what do you think? decent subs? i hope :/

2nd battery help
bngblzr replied to dtcharneski's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
if you run 0 gauge you should run 0 gauge grounds off both batterys. other wise the power wire will only be as efficient as the ground.. -
yea the box for all 4 is gonna be tuned LOW. like 27-30 Hz. and that port in my sig was amazing... GOT LOW and LOUD. but somebody stole it.... damn theives..
-
my locla shop built it for me 2 cubes considering displacement. tuned to 35Hz. i need a subsonic filter... BAD anything reall low and they bottom out. other than that they are LOUD! i had 4 12's see sig and i pretty sure 4 of these 10's will be louder
-
well just got 2 of my 4 10's installed in a custom ported box and there really loud 4 10's very nice.. they just hate lows (ie Young Jezzy - put on. the lowest set bottoms out) subsonic filter for the win...

i have 2 RE SR 10 D4's so which us amp do i need? i might do eight later. The set up is in a 97 S-10 blazer so i have some room. what kind of current draw should i expect? my blazer is all blacked out so black would be sweet but what ever works...
