I may be buying Tirefryr's JBL BPX2200.1 if he still has it which i believe he does the last time i talked to him. Anyways what do you guys suggest i should do to my electrical system right now to handle it. Only gonna run it on one BL with the gain turned way down. So im thinking 2 runs on 0 from the front back and the red top i have in the back right now will handle it or am i sorely mistaken? I figure i could sell the 1200d to pay for the HO alternator but what do you guys suggest?

1.) Must all ready own a amplifier with output between 250w-400w @ 2 ohm mono. Must list what amplifier it is. - Sae-1200d 2.) Must have Stereo installation experience. List your experience. - 4 different installs in the tribute - 3 different installs in my girls car - 2 different nav decks in an 07 Titan - Installed BSW 10" system in a 06 BMW M3 3.) Must be an ACTIVE SSA MEMBER with >=75 posts. - check 4.) Must do a pictorial or build log of system with in two weeks of receiving subs... - will do 5.) Must do a medium length review with a decent array of music, listing sample tracks. - have to steal my friends ipod for some country and pop but i can handle that 6.) Will post review + build log(pictures) on multiple sites - shouldn't be to hard + as a side note it may take me 3 weeks or so since im at school and it slows the process. Id rather someone who could get it done faster or needs them more than I to get them but hey id love to play with them just as much as the next guy. -

coil 1 - to coil 2 + coil 3 - to coil 4 + coil 1 + to coil 3 + coil 2 - to coil 4 - coil 1 + to amp + coil 2 - to amp - i think that will get you a 1 ohm load im kinda tired so sorry if that's confusing -
im sitting here looking at knu wiring kits i may pick up two of there 1/0 kits. will it be that big of a benefit to have 2 runs. id think so bc id be able to pull around 500 amps from the front battery but i dont know if its really needed.

2200w at 4 ohms and at 1 ohm. Same output power = same power consumption. yeah that's what i figured well hopefully if i get it turning the gain down a good deal will be fine for now i only really need 1200 or so for the Bl to be loud. i just want to make it future proof and i know the crown amps are awesome amps and they put out way more than rated. One of my favourite amps at that power level I've used one similar to that, Viper D2500.1, at one ohm, on one NSB125 clone + an old starter battery under the hood. Something along the lines of a Powermaster D3100 + Big 3 + 1/0 is a good starting point Yeah it seems like a badass amp and i know Tirefryr is a good man so i know its in good condition. I figured that my current setup would hold fine with the gain down and i can always manage a 250+amp alternator if need be im sure it would hold fine like that with both my batteries.

Does that change anything on a balanced current amp? i figured that wouldn't change a whole lot but i wouldnt know im not totally sure how the crown amps work. i just know they have 2 +12v and 2 -12v terminals so i figured the draw was up there pretty far.
-
Yes but he says that it keeps constant voltage on the gauge while in play. Just had an idea put a volt meter on the terminals of the amp during play to see voltage. could possibly be a low voltage due to a ground or bad connection.
-
Well if you voltage gauge stays steady the i wouldn't think your charging system would be the problem. make sure there aren't any shorts in your speaker wires or you could possibly have a bad speaker that's shorting it out. im trying to cover every possible thing here.
-
Id think so as well i just had the same issue with my 1200d i know that's a hell of alot more power but i was getting under volt problems. turn the volume down lets the amp reset and as soon as i turned it up it went out again. may not be the issue but you could always test your battery and alternator its free at auto zone.

XCON agreed :bigclap:
-
Good install but i wanna see some sundown and an I-con in there =P
-
sounds like a charging system issue to me. maybe in need of a new battery or alternator.
-
looken good man
-
sounds like a great idea i think more of a trade up program would be better. say i trade in my 1200d and get credit towards another sundown amp. say trade in two saz-1500d's and a little bit of cash for a 3000d.

thanks a bunch guys. wish i could get two i-cons or x-cons for the next build the low end seems ridicules on the i-cons.

Well i said id show you guys when i was done. Its nothing special but its getting there, im selling a four wheeler right now so when that happens there will be a build log coming. Avic-90bt with XM and HD tuner Custom mounted bass knob Showing the SSA love. the ring around the letters cracked when i was pulling it off that's why its missing. 6k HIDs The 15 BL and the amps Sexy 1200d and the RF 500.2 for the doors Poor little red top that i murder he needs a friend or i need to get an alternator. That's all for now its a work in progress and i got a long way to go. hopefully if all goes well another 15 bl is coming.

Only done the license plate so far and stuff the hatch door fully of paper towels. my door flex out is all you can hear from the outside. kinda make a tapping noise but that's solved with all the windows down. As for the inside i really need to do the plastic panels in the back and door. the plastic vibrates uncontrollably and it makes a slight annoying and distracting noise. I think iv decided to go with another 1200d and a bl. i figure that way i can get both the bl and the amp at the same time and it'll be about the same power. even leave some more money for another battery but most likely the alternator.

Idk it might just be me but i started at 230 and worked out 1 hour 5 days a week doing weights three of the days and cardio the other two days. Everyday did consist of a warm up and 1mile run to get everything going. Eating habits stayed much the same but i eat alot of good home cooked meals other than lunch. After 6 months i got down to 171lbs of nothing i was a damn stick with muscles. In my opinion as long as you are determined you'll lose the weight but in my eyes as long as you eat 3 good meals a day and work your ass off at the gym you'll get there in no time. best of luck man i hope everything works out for you.

probably gonna be awhile unless someone buys my four wheeler. gonna sell the wheels this week for 600 so hopefully if someone buys my 1200d i can get a 3000d for both the bl's
