Guide to getting LouD with a wall tips
ncacoates replied to shizzzon's topic in SPL & SQ / Fabrication
First problem... Modified 1-5 - Vehicles with non-permanent modifications behind the B-pillars, including woofer walls. -
Just did some light sanding with 120grit and you hammered black from rustolem. Not really and issues with fading iv ever seen with standard rattle can paint. As for filling in holes just rough up the area and use a little bondo its stick just fine. Just remember prep work is more important than anything.

looks good man and i know this sounds crazy but i have like 5 full rolls of paper towels bunched up in mine and it did the trick. not a peep out of mine but the back glass which i plan on taking the shocks off and securing the corners down.

Honestly man i love loud and the x-cons do it great but the SQ is what really wins me over. Being loud and sounding good is the most important thing to me. Sure i could have done BTLs or Nightshades and got well into the 150s but after having x-cons ill never go back. I think you would be plenty happy with the change out from your DCs. I did some demos for people today and jaws droped when i played lost chopped and screwed. The lows are down right insane even though i cant physically hear them it flexes my car like iv never seen before. I totally agree with you though and mark you guys did an amazing job with them.

Looks good jake wouldn't mind trying one of those little things out.

it seems to stay at 43hz every time. which is more impressive to me than 150 at 55 or 60hz. ill try and get another video soon or later.
-
Shes right it was right at a 150 on the windshield and right around a 148 at the headrest. needless to say its a serious ground pounder now. If only i could get the roof stiffened up i think i could break a 150 but that will have to wait so will a h/o alternator for a long time.

Should have my info if not ill send it to you again.

Yeah they are kickers but they don't seem like something kicker would make. They sound very nice and seem to be worlds more precise than the kapas. Don't worry the 3000d doesn't scare me at all its a lot of fun haha. gonna try and get a meter on it tomorrow. crossing my fingers on a 149+
