Well I figured I would post up this in here, at the last time i was on here I was going to build a old school system and I was looking for the old GM-H series Pioneer amps, well over the time I have collected a couple! LOL 2- GM-H200's 3- GM-H50's 5- GM-H100's Im looking to get the install started this spring in my Mark, Going to use the two 200's bridged for the set of new old stock Kicker 10" competition subs, one 100 for an old set of MB 6.5" mids and then another 100 for a set of tweets that I haven't figured out which ones yet(but I have been searching here for info on them!). Should be good hopefully when it's done!

JBL AMPS

well look at it this way, take an amp is like a glass of water, if you hook one sub up to it its like having one straw to drink with, but the more straws you put in the glass it equals out the amount that can be drawn but all of them are equal. Not sure if that makes sense or not. -
How about the tailgate for the amps to mount in? would save a hell of alot of space then you can just have the sub box where ever you want.

What type of car is this going in? Whats the goal of the car? SQ or SPL?

JBL AMPS

no it would get divided depending on how the subs are wired up -
Not many poeple would use an 18 for sound quality, JMO!
-
Another reason to not go with all of the same company in all the places is simply not every product is the est in that segment of the market, sure a sub companycould make components but they might not sound as good as a company that makes just components. Same for amps/HU/X-Covers/EQ's, its always best to shop around and fine things that sound good with a good price point.

just take it into a local stereo shop and ask them to just throw a meter on it, i seriously doubt they would charge you for that
