Eh, it happens. Just don't drink good scotch while working on homework. After just a little bit you say f' the homework and enjoy the scotch. That was exactly why I drank scotch with homework Except I no longer have scotch anymore. Me and a friend drank an entire 1L bottle of glenlivet last weekend in one sitting. It was a hell of a good night. The first bar I went to last weekend in McLean (while I was still remembering things and sober) had a bottle of 25-year Macallan's. Even by the drink that's too much for me

Well, in that case you probably won't get drunk as neither of those are really "beers"

I don't know, but I saw one of those the last time I was in NC, the phone company had one.

Don't really know where I'm going to find another nut like the one that's in there, though

I ghettofied my TT this afternoon, turns out only one screw holding the cart to the headshell works just fine for the time being

Only if you use "Six Whole Kitties"

Do the Maggies fit in your vehicle? Can I answer this?

... well.. it depends on the space and application. For my HT room 120-175 is about right I would guess when I design that. Living room eh... 40-60 ish.. Bedroom is more of a 30-40 type place. Kitchen... well, gotta get into the 15-20's. I can barely justify one TV, never mind that many

In a weird mood today...

I'm missing the other small nut I thought I had Have you seen my nut(s)?

These things are going to need some serious experimenting with stuffing...unstuffed, the midrange is all over the place...time to get some Eva Cassidy and see if I can make female vocals the sex again...

Very original Clean too...although those wheels in a slightly smaller size would be nicer

Propolusion Choice of the future

True, but just because we can, does it mean we should? I guess it depends on the technology, I'd be all for more offshore wind farms that some people are opposed to, but drilling in national wildlife refuges is a little meh... The crisis is that the old business model is basically holding us hostage to a corporate system that's going to keep charging and charging us. If large amounts of people broke off from that, we'd have some very interesting results... This isn't related to vehicles per say, but the cost of energy in general is making a lot of renewables suddenly very affordable. The last time I was at my folks' place, we spec'ed out a recirculating solar hot water system, at current propane rates ($3.50/gal) it'd pay for itself in five years. And that's only going to get better. I would say yes we should. I think the earth should be a top priority but to not take advantage of the fuel we could use makes no sense. This wind and solar idea are pretty good no doubt. I would do it even if I would only break even as it would make me more independent. Wind is a real real hard to use source, only in the US would it work well as we don't populate much of our nation, and have large open spaces..... that said I'm still for nuclear. Clean and efficient, and requires less operational energy. It self sustains. With Gas I feel the same way. It's the least of the evils we have, the human race will run around like confused chickens with the self created crisis. I don't expect what works here to work in the rest of the world, just as I don't expect what they have to work here. I think it's insane to not make use of something as efficient as crude. The one point I feel in agreement with you is that tapping in wildlife reserves is sketchy at best, but it would probably cost less to move every plant animal and rock out of the way and create an indestructable bubble around the area, than to switch to another fuel mach schnell before the tech catches up with the desire. I'm all for nuclear power if we did what they do in France and run reactors that convert the waste into plutonium and use that for fuel too...we're burying all that waste that could be re-used, with absolutely no way of knowing how that waste is going to affect people potentially thousands of years in the future. -
Damn, I was hoping we could convince you to go overkill on full range horns. I need to hear more, but not my thing atm. The BK-16's are puny You need to get into the people-sized stuff to really get the midbass...and the non-Sigma Fostex's don't have anywhere near the top end that the Sig's do...

Nothing a little silicone can't fix. These things are unwieldy, I'm thinking a set of 5" bookshelf speakers for my next project
-
Ryan, did you just drill a hole in the internal baffle or found a way to get it around the bottom of it?
-
It's more annoying than it seems to get speaker wire inside a speaker cabinet that's larger than you are

Where's my Squeakinator, fool... Have a good one

I would agree Although I'm with you on Revel and B&W...would probably take those over a lot of Paradigms, I'm not a fan of newer Klipsch unless they're the reissued Heritage lines

Of course, I've got a pucking toolbox full of shit but the one size jeweler's screwdriver I need to tighten down the cartridge is missing...probably out in the van somewhere Times like this that CDs seem so much easier

Dave's Insanity Sauce. Lethal shit (for me at least) I use that stuff as steak sauce. It's good

Heck, Dave eats the stuff
