Not in something smaller than a full-size cargo van, and even then a true TL for 2 18's would be pushing it.

I agree with you. Flash chat is a steaming pile.

Daily Driver...16 sundown 8's Bandpass IB Clamshell, in a stratus.

If you're going to weld steel back in there, what was the point of removing that in the first place? Edit - just saw the bar stock you're using, that looks like it's going to snap like a twig, in all honesty... I'm no structural engineer, but that just seems like a horrible idea in any kind of rear-end collision. Especially with a vehicle that's already going to have a very different weight distribution... -
Hmm...I'll be in Raleigh on Thursday...even with the gas I'd burn to get down there, still not a bad deal...I don't have any 1/0 right now, but I'd give you a hand with putting it in if you can find some.

Still no motivation to study Getting an hour or two in, here and there...

Frankly, for what you guys do, a mere check for a couple hundred bucks is an insult

Bunch of other people got hit by that too. It's been banned.

Guess what, if I could find a 3kW monoblock that had an extended frequency response I could run it on a tweeter all day long if I wanted to. Just because there's "100W" available on one channel doesn't mean you have to send all 100W to the driver... Well, L-pads exempted...

Inaccurate, yes, but we do have a problem with obesity in this country. The exact numbers may be hard to pin down, but the problem is real...

Torrents with no seeders makes me teh sadz

Your goals are mutually exclusive, plain and simple. The only way I could see that happening with the same install would be if you put the subs in a sealed enclosure, you'd have to attenuate the heck out of it when you wanted SQ but it could be done. Otherwise, you'd have to install a separate sub somewhere else and turn off the others, or have enough midbass in front to go sub-less...

Altec multicell horns. Best party-turned-audiophile speakers I've heard yet. Pair of 811 horns, B&C neo 15's, bi-amped... Links To what? Search for "Altec 811" on Ebay, check out some of the high-efficiency drivers in Parts Express, go on the High Efficiency forum on AudioAsylum and see what people have used for cabinets and such. The Altec A7 used a horn-loaded cab for the midbass, but you could use a regular bass reflex one too that would take up less room.

If you're thinking about sound quality, subwoofers really are the last thing that should be concerning you.
-
You do realize that most people over the age of 25, when looking at you, aren't impressed but are thinking "What an asshat..."?
-
Not stupid, just a little ill-informed The voltage by itself doesn't tell you a whole lot.
-
Ok, do you know how many volts there should be to produce 1000W? Who cares. Doesn't matter for the purpose of setting input gains.
