Weird. Cut the grass last week, it's down to under four hours now...
-
What's my name showing up as here? It's showing JimJ for me, but I was just quoted in the table saw thread as RickRolled...maybe Brian just hasn't cleared his cookies yet.

My favorite brand would be Powermatic, but since I haven't found a money tree yet I'm stuck with a Ryobi If you can splurge, splurge on the fence. A solid, reliable fence will make your life much, much easier.

Because what you asked for is childish and stupid, so nobody is going to help you that way. Now, rethink your goals a little bit and we can help

The Caddy on the track would be about as funny as the Econoline on the track

I'm actually feeling good today...positive...this is dangerous. Bad shit on the horizon...

A remake of Mad Max?

Downloading some new stuff for the SD-1 review, looking forward to listening to it

I have no experience with multichannel preamps/processors...so I couldn't tell you about specific models. Best thing to do would read reviews and lurk on places like HTGuide They're more into multi over there...

So why not build a box that doesn't require you to ghetto-fy anything?
-
Yeah, by putting personal safety ahead of having loud bass. Simple choice if you ask me.

Define "our" place. She kicked you out?

Wrong.

Single 10" ICON D2 on a SAZ-1500D

That it's not blown -
Depends on whether or not it has line level outputs. On some, you can bypass the internal amplifier. I'd probably lurk on Audiogon for preamps, that's how I ended up finding mine.

Surface area of the cone, roughly. Try a higher-tuned enclosure...

I'm not going to lie, the prospect of you carrying a weapon is frightening. But at least I'm not in your area...

It's not the loud part that's infeasible, it's the "sounding better" part.

Very good point, works out as I'll have more cash available by then, anyway. What I'm looking for in a bike is...something not outrageous in price, something that'll last for a long time, something that's slightly quirky and oddball in a crowd The newer Triumphs look like a very good option, but they're still slightly over my budget (in the $4k'ish range). I realize something older is going to be more finicky and tempermental, but it's not like I'm going to be depending on it to get anywhere, and a goal of mine this summer is to finally clear out some space in the basement at my folks' place so I have a nice organized indoor area to do maintenance or if I need to fix anything.

Don't need a garage, either, I did mine outside, in the snow But I don't recommend it... Waiting for BM'ers to pop up for sale around here And nobody I know is into European bikes, all the people I know here who ride are Harley folk...
-
Don't think that's going to happen, regardless of the woofer chosen.
-
Maybe something that sounds good?

For a true loud SQ app, all you need is a 15"...if that. A single Icon (along with countless other drivers) should do it well

Lots of excursion isn't needed. Build something like a Pass El-Pipe O and you won't be complaining the drivers don't have a lot of linear travel
